Unfortunately we had a pretty ordinary experience at Lefty’s at least a couple of time – the most recent being today. We ordered a simple order of hot chicken wings which had several issues – waiting too long and then the wings came out either burnt or not done. Please see the image attached. Very disappointed as we want the neighborhood pizzeria to succeed. But the attention to service and quality needs a lot of improvement.

First experience at Lefty’s yesterday. Very pleasantly surprised. The Large deep dish was a massive amount of delicious pizza. We will have leftovers for a couple days. It might seem a little expensive at first until you realize the amount of food you receive that is delicious. We will return often.

I’ve been to Lefty’s multiple times and it’s always great. I’m a New Yorker who loves thin crust normally, but this pizza is the perfect version of Chicago style. It’s not too thick, the sauce is great, and it travels well, and reheats perfectly. The staff and management are always welcoming and accommodating. Worth the drive from downtown!

I have to tip my hat off to them. It was a crazy busy evening for them. With the power still out in Bee Caves & Lakeway. People were there to get some warm food. This was not my first time going there. The pan pizza we got was better than the last time. Considering how busy due to the circumstances. Thank you!!!

Thin crust 12 inch pizza with pepperoni, sausage, jalapeno, onion, and extra cheese to go was $32. Really bland, hardly any sausage, seemed like no onion, very little jalapeno (thank goodness because it tasted like garbage smells – disgusting). I’m not sure why there are good reviews but we really didn’t care for it at all.

We had a small cheese pizza with sausage and jalapeno. The very edges of the crust were crisp but the rest was essentially raw dough. The jalapenos were completely void of any flavor or spice. We also had a small order of wings which were slightly burnt and dry. Overall, very disappointed as we have so few options out here. I doubt we’ll return.
