First time at Lefty’s and it was GOOD!! I ordered The Grim Reaper and the kids ordered the original cheesesteaks. The biggest difference between the two sandwiches was that mine had pepper jack cheese as well as a generous portion of spicy chopped cherry peppers. The cheese and the peppers and the condiments mingled together with the chopped ribeye to create something like a symphony in your mouth! So good! I was only able to eat half of my sandwich. The rest is going to get reheated in the air fryer for breakfast, no shame!

“Where everything is done right?” NOT QUITE! Not even close. Political joke, here- if you believe in leftist theories, this is your place. If you believe in orders actually done right, not a good place. The food was okay, however- I ordered curly fries and expected curly fries, got Cajun fries instead. I made that known to one of the young ladies, she says we are all out of curly fries sorry about that, if you’re like me who doesn’t mind a few substitutions- this would not be a big deal, to some- it’s understandable that there’s much worse people out there who would object. It would be nice though if you were informed that in advance and not after the fact. It appears that the other lady who took the order either does not know how to be honest or is just lazy about not informing people about what they have and what they don’t, it would help if you put a sign stating out of this or out of that- no effort needed. You may lose a lot of business due to your laziness and be out of a job, I’m just informing. Also, the drink dispensers are a joke- you want to select a drink and there’s nothing but water and also no drink of that kind available, more evident proof of laziness of employees there. Only two stars- the food was okay, the options just enough available okay, service- lacking, honesty- lacking, and sanitary conditions- not okay, more napkins and soap/sanitizer must be needed. Good luck trying to stay open.

I have to give it 2 star’s. I have to say service was welcoming, time frame that they say your order is ready was fantastic, prices are far about the same as a coney island. Now why 2 star’s, I was a first time customer! I was trying out this place, and to see if I was gonna be regularly coming here cause it’s on my way to my night shift job. I got this!!, for a little over $5 dollars a half of what I thought was going to be a good size side meal. I could have gone to a coney island an got more for the same price. I will say this, I will try it one more time and to give it a benefit of the doubt. I will do a second thought about this place. When that time comes!!

This Lefty’s location here in Southfield is laid back, only con is that they dont have a carryout menu, but instead its on their google website as well on a tv in their lobby. Food is unique and if you dont want a basic sandwich, they have other unique food choices. The fries are good, they also have corn beef egg rolls which are very good and they even stay open late until 1am for all of those night owls coming from work and the clubs.

The cheese steaks here are very good HOWEVER these egg rolls are totally disappointing! Look at this portion size. I ordered thru a delivery app and when it arrived I initially thought they forgot part of the order because they were so small. Also, WHERE IS THE MEAT? I was so upset. All you taste is dough. NOT GOOD AT ALL
