Fun place cool atmosphere. I just had a hot dog with mustard and would have liked the hot dog a little warmer but it tasted great. Will definitely stop for another try. The second time I tried the chili dog. Delicious! What should I try next? I’ll be back.

Service was prompt, and the food was good. I had a Chicago dog (excellent) and fries (excellent). I had the regular fries, not the large. Woman after me ordered the large fries. When she saw my order, she asked, “Is that the regular fries?” I said yes. She said, “I made a mistake! I ordered the large fries!” I told to enjoy the take home order of fries. (No photos) it is a roadside stand, so dining is outside, which adds to the charm of the place.

When driving Highway 12 just outside Elkhorn, there rests a great lunch destination. The menu options for hotdogs is remarkable and they taste even better. The outside dining area encourages you to sit back, relax, and watch the world drive by.

Stopped by for a chili cheese dog and they cranked it out right away. It was rainy so I took it home to eat and when I finally dug into it it was delicious. Highly recommend

Stopped at Lefty’s after seeing it on Discover Wisconsin yesterday. What a treasure! I enjoyed a chili cheese hotdog and an enormous serving of cheese fries. My partner said his burger was excellent. Definitely a place we’ll return to.
