In 2001, Chieu and his eldest son, Minh, developed a brand-new concept for Lee’s Sandwiches. Alongside the traditional Vietnamese banh mi options, they wanted to add Euro-style sandwiches, fresh baked baguettes, croissants and an extensive line of drinks including Lee’s Coffee.
Counter-service chain for Vietnamese staples such as banh mi, plus some classic deli sandwiches. Based on 220 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 3.7 stars. Price $

This place is a disappointment and I hope does not reflect what the Lee’s brand has become. Lee’s used to be quick, convenient, and inexpensive.

What a disappointment. I’ve been buying baguettes for a while now and last week I was given a “bat.” I ordered 3 and I noticed that were hard. I told the girl and she offered to warm it up. I agreed. When I arrived home, it was hard as a rock. They were not fresh. I took them back and I had to call the owner as the girl told me she couldn’t refund me without his authorization. I called him and he told me to tell the girl to give me soft ones and that the ones I got were “crunchy.” I told him that they were not crunchy! They were hard as a rock and he hung up on me. Upon waiting for my money back, I noticed how dirty everything is. The dining area looks like a storage. The end of the kitchen tile is dirty. The only girl working there was handling money and food without washing her hands. So sad they don’t maintain the store clean to ensure no one gets sick. I hope they clean it up and stop selling hard as “baseball bat” baguettes.

I ordered my ham and cheese Sandwich with no tomato. The gentleman charged me extra tomato. When I specifically said no tomato three times and he even repeated it back to me.. My daughter asked him if the Sandwich comes with avocado and he said extra avocado OK and charged for extra avocado. Instead of answering the question, he needs to listen to his customers more and stop pushing buttons on the screen until he clarifies with them their order. Not to mention the tables were dirty.

During COVID-19 protocols, customers line up outside and enter one at a time to place their order. I ordered their pork sandwich. The cashier asked if I could wait 4 minutes for freshly baked baguette? Of course I said yes. How can you beat a sandwich made with a warm out of the oven French baguette? Then I saw on their menu that you can order just the baguette. Yes! So the photo shows just half the sandwich and half the baguette. . . because I already ate the other half. I’m impressed that a chain restaurant can deliver such tasty foods. I will be back.

I love Lee’s Sandwiches in Chandler, AZ. But this location is not nearly the same. The bread was stale and their pickles were left out too long. Not a good place for sandwiches.

Vietnamese fusion sandwiches interspersed with pickled vinegar carrots, daicon, cilantro and spicy bite. Tasted the BBQ cha siu pork, which I would recommend. Will be returning to savor other options. Small place with a few tables for seating. Friendly staff taking order.

Lee’s here is pathetic. The Lee’s shops now are not as good as they used to be but this location is a new level of sad. I we ordered the dac biet and grilled pork. Literally about 4 tiny pieces of grilled pork. Basically paid $6 for bread.
