This place Usually is on point. This night I was very disappointed, order was wrong, and portions were even smaller than lunch portions although the price was dinner pricing. Very disappointed. Chop steak was child sized. And the catfish was a rubbery hard meal to eat. Not good on this night

I’ve been stopping by on Fridays for the 4 or 6 piece catfish meal, and it has been great. The fish is nicely battered and plenty to eat or take home when you don’t finish it. I ordered a slice of Pecan pie this last round, and I had to take it home, but when I got to it, it was great. This is a great place for seafood.

When my father worked at Alcoa/TU Electric they would order from here all the time and bragged about how good it was, so we tried it out. Maybe it was an off day but our food took for ever and they didn’t have everything that came on 2 of the plates. My CFS didn’t look anything like the pictures everyone posted. It was tiny and overcooked. I was hoping for a real chicken fried steak. You know, one that is almost to big for the plate. And to top it all off, the mashed potatoes were box “potatoes”! All this leads me to believe that the sign in front of the store that says best hamburgers is probably not true.

Came here today 6/3, this place is not only outdated, it’s gross. When we ordered our food I asked for lemonade for my daughter, they were out, apple juice? Out. So we settled on water. Food was okay.. I ordered a Spanish omelet with hash brows… hash browns aren’t actual hash browns, they are just diced square potatoes.

Worst place I’ve been to in a long while. We had catfish plate, gave us the tiniest portions imaginable, like even smaller than a kids plate. I mean who does that? Had corn on the cob for a side, I asked if it was fresh, they said yes. It wasn’t, it was cooked from frozen tasteless mush. Grandson had meat plate, since I was starving after eating my microscopic catfish portion, He gave me a slice of brisket. Tough and tasteless. I will never set foot in this place again.

We have been there a bunch of times . One time we went and a long hair was in my food we got up and left. Last night we went and they change their batter on the shrimp. It was more like a tempa batter before and last night it was like catfish batter. The food was okay the green beans were horrible. But as we were checking out my husband was signing. The receipt a roach crawled across the receipt under the straw container on the checkout stand. My husband jokingly said they should be coming out at night. And the girl goes yes. As far as the service it was good. The ambiance was quiet.

If you have the option to eat anywhere else. Please do so. The cook has no idea what the portions are supposed to be. One of our appetizers got sent back twice before we just told them to take it off our bill.

Honestly one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. EVERY TIME I visit here, I’m treated like family, though I am not. The wait staff are fabulous. They always seat me and take my order order very promptly, with a smile. My hot food has always been served very promptly, too. They have an excellent Menu, I especially like their variety of fresh ‘Side’ menu items. SO MANY DELICIOUS, FRESH OPTIONS. I love everything about this place, but my favorite thing is ‘Breakfast All Day’. They serve the best omelettes and breakfast tacos, along with full breakfast plates, including fluffy pancakes. I often feed my bacon cravings on my drive home, even at 6:00 in the evening. Their Chicken Fried Steak is really good too. And don’t forget to have a piece of Coconut Merengue Pie while you’re here omg It is Delightful. Don’t be surprised if you get a personal visit to your table by Lee Parsley himself. The owner of this establishment makes rounds and meets all of his patrons, makes certain everyone has a great experience here. Dine-In or call in your order and pick up at the DRIVE THROUGH (love this feature). Good food & good service at an affordable price. This restaurant is definitely one of my Favorites!
