This is an unexpected delight. The food was very fresh and cooked to order. My mom’s cashew shrimp was lovely and not over sauced or salty. My spicy bean curd was also delicious with plenty of fresh veggies and not at all greasy. We definitely be back. The walls could use a bit of paint but the food is great.

DO NOT waste your money on this very low quality food and service!!!! They offer a dirt cheap buffet during the week and you get what you pay for. If you go after 1 to avoid the rush as this place is tiny inside, the food is dried out and they avoid refreshing the bar, forcing you to eat whatever scraps are left. Last week I tried to go early to have a fresher food experience and when a large group of Spanish construction workers came in, I was made to move to a smaller table in the middle of my meal!!!!! The owners only cleared off their large table they keep their personal junk on AFTER they made me move and more people came in, not before. I thought AMERICA operated on a first come first serve basis. Not here. If you’ve already paid they will not make the group of 20 something Spanish men that come in there every day wait their turn. Absolutely disgusting. Maybe a phone call to have the cleanliness and quality of this trashy restaurant investigated, and one to the Department of Immigration is in order.

Good food, decent prices, and fast delivery. We had the Honey chicken combo plate and the Happy family (chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, lobster, and veggies. Both were above average – 4 stars. The convenience factor of delivery adds another star. We’ll definitely order again.

Some of the food is still excellent still but they changed the quality of some of the food since covid Which I understand to save money but if it makes customers not come back I do not understand. The Egg Rolls taste awful like store bought and the portions were nothing but rice and a little bit of meat in the combo platters. The prices are just WAY to high for what you get and it is not worth it fight now maybe if things get better. I love this pave and I hate to have to complain

Good food at reasonable prices. My chicken lo mein was freshly made and authentic. The restaurant is small, sitting only about 20. They offer a small buffet. The women’s restroom needed some TLC. They do a good take-out business.

Not Good, the egg roll was worst I have ever had, tasted like dish soap. I had the Sesame Seed Chicken with Fried Rice, but rice was old and tasted Bad. The Sesame seed Chicken was a 2 only reason they didnt get a zero. Last trip for me, I’ll stick with New China 200X better.

Been eating here well over 15 years and I have NEVER been disappointed. It seems like your typical family owned Chinese restaurant, so don’t be put off… their food is fantastic. I usually order the sesame chicken. Best around, imo.

Lee’s was just OK. I often pass through Forest. Decided to try this place. Stopped Friday 5/5/2017. The owner/kids chatted w/me. The owner was really random. He pulled out his phone and just snapped my picture without even asking. Then when I complained he said “you don’t know it’s common to take people’s pictures?” I told him to delete it and after he deleted it he looked very unhappy and claimed he couldn’t speak English. Then the kids asked me “Have you heard about Super Buffet in Lynchburg? at Waterlick plaza?” I hadn’t heard so I said no. They said they take people’s pictures all the time without asking. So I guess they think its OK to take people’s pictures without permission. Looking at Super Buffet’s reviews they seem pretty creepy. I think this place is probably too… Food was very average. Didn’t enjoy it.

Sorry to say that Lee’s Garden has closed permanently (as of 12/5/20). I had much better experiences than some who have posted reviews. This has been our go-to Chinese place since China Royal shut down eight years ago. We’ll miss it.
