Yes, I gave it 5 stars. Yes, it’s a chain restaurant with a small dining room. BUT – we’ve been using the drive-thru at Lee’s on the “Rock Road” for the past 11 years. We always get the same thing using coupons that come with the other local business flyers. My wife gets the 2 piece dark meat, I get the breast. They both come with biscuits, and we always get the slaw and mashed potatoes and gravy. Recently, they increased the prices a little, but it’s still worth $5.99 and $5.69 respectively for chicken, biscuits, and 2 sides. In 11 years of getting chicken dinners here we have never had an order messed up. The food is always fresh and everything is delicious. The line moves fairly fast. What more could you ask for in a fast food restaurant?

Please put someone on the drive thru who you can understand. I was excited to try Lee’s chicken for the first time but the lady on the headset had such a ghetto way of speaking I couldn’t comprehend what she was saying. I drove off. She was not rude at all though.

I would like to give a shout out to this location for the evening of June 18th, Father’s Day, 2023. I had a huge order, paid, received order quickly, and went home to discover my 8 pieces of chicken were not in my order. I called them and explained, was told to come back up to receive my chicken. I did, and not only was my chicken there, but a gallon of tea and biscuits as well. We took our food home and let me tell you…the best Lee’s chicken, biscuits, wedges, and on, ever!! It was so good and thank you to the best crew!

Food containers have a promotion for #giftameal so photos and social media shares translate into donated meals. They had fried pickles which was unique. Otherwise, this is a pretty standard fast food fried chicken place.

I had not been to Lee’s for many yrs., because of a bad experience with Chicken Gizzards, that were wayyyyy too salty & overfried or as some call them ” cooked hard”. They were hard & very tough & chewy.

Ordered crispy / spicy, got famous. Called up there and spoke with someone and he seemed…odd. it sounded like he didn’t believe me that they could get the order wrong. I could always play back the dash cam video of me telling them my order and I took a picture of the type of chicken I received. This was no big deal at first till the guy was like drive back to here and bring the food for a replacement. Like no lol. I came up there on my lunch break. I’m not going back lol. So it’s whatever, guy was just weird.

There was one issue where one of my chicken tenders was a bit tough, but overall I loved the flavors. Everything tasted very good. We don’t have Lee’s in Kansas City and I really could see it becoming my favorite chicken place if we had one.

There wasn’t a line and i thought that was a good thing. I was wrong.The chicken was cold,old and gummy. I purchased several dinners. We had to dispose of all of them…… It definitely was a disappointment. I am normally a fan of Lee’s chicken. I am not sure I could recommend this location or order from here again.
