I have gone here a few times, and plan on being a lifelong customer! Today I got a to-go order, and the woman taking my order was kind, attentive, made sure to accommodate my substitutions, and gave us extra fortune cookies! The food was fresh, DELICIOUS, and they gave us very generous servings. Would recommend to a friend/my mom/a stranger on the street.

Lee’s has the very best hot sour soup I have eaten anywhere. Mrs. Lee is very friendly and attentive. especially if you go there frequently and they recognize you they take very good care of you throwing an extra appetizers and soups. You always get your money’s worth and more. I love their Crispy Chicken special.

Since my local favorite Chinese restaurant was sold (and menu changed), I have been on a quest for Chinese food that is as good as Mr. Quon used to serve. Lee’s is our new favorite in the Peoria area. The food was amazing. The sauces have a deep flavor and the prices are great too. It may not look like much from the outside, but is a hidden treasure.

This is the worst Chinese food I have ever had. They demanded we come immediately to pick it up since they were closing soon even though they were still open for another hour. The chicken fried rice meat was GREY in color! I really question source of this “chicken.” The sesame chicken was very dried out and had bad flavor. The crab rangoon was fresh. Go to China Express it’s infinitely better.

The Moo Goo Gai Pan is excellent and I have it once a month or so. The lady up front speaks poor English but she tries and I enjoy talking with her. I would recommend their food to anyone.

I moved to the Peoria area 15 years ago, and have been to several Chinese restaurants in that time – but not one has adequately compared to what I grew up on in the Chicago area. Lee’s wowwed me with the first bite of crab rangoon….and keeps my tastebuds in bliss every time we order take-out. The owner is friendly and knowledgeable, the portions are generous and exquisitely flavored (the Szechuan green beans are a new favorite). We love it all!
