The mushroom and Mozz appetizer was amazing! The gumbo, dirty bird and shrimp plate were amazing, as well as the kids plates! This was our first time here and we will definitely be back!

Road trip from Nola to North Texas and stopped here for a bite. Had the Dirty Bird with fries and iced tea. So good!! Will be back if we’re in the area.

5 stars for take out and 3 stars for dining in. I used to order delivery from Lee’s back when they were doing take out through Waitr and the food was always on point. So much so that I was disappointed when I had to go a few months without while they got their brick and mortar up and running. I was super excited when I saw they had reopened (though sadly, no more delivery), and took my daughter in on a slow Saturday. We shared the potato skins and the red beans and rice and both were delicious. Service was decent, but our waitress had picked up our signed receipt before we left and although I had left a nice tip on our small bill, she didn’t tell us “bye” or “thanks” even though she was standing at the hostess station when we left, which I found kind of rude (and this is coming from someone who has worked in the service industry for many years). The only other thing I was kind of put off by was the cleanliness of the place. The floors were gross, there were cobwebs in the corners behind where we were sitting, and it just looked like the place could use a good deep cleaning. Overall, the food is still as good as ever and at the very least we’ll order take out on a regular basis. I’m glad to have a nice restaurant with a good variety of food nearby that’s not just another boudin and fried food place. We look forward to ordering again soon.

Sweet waitress staff. Food was good, a little over cooked on the combination platter, but good in general. Red beans and rice were tasty. Best thing we ordered were the boudan balls! Those are a must try. It was extremely hot inside the restaurant. Feel bad for the staff and the cooks. We sweated it out, lol. Will check back in if we get to come back to the area again.

Fantastic meal, we got the fried mushrooms, Cadillac grilled, cheese and the dirty bird! Everything was great and the staff was super friendly. We will definitely be back for more amazing food!

Ordered togo.They were out of boudin balls and they left out my cole slaw But Boy Oh Boy..That Gumbo! Wow! Amazing, Hot and . My fiancee and I wanted some the next day but we left town earlier the next day! Very Good! Even though I ordered togo..the staff seemed friendly. Forgot to take pic of gumbo because we tore it up
