I always go and grab a take away lunches or order every weekend a portion of any kind dishes because I love the taste and service at Lechon Manila. However, few months ago they have new staff at the counter and the I always noticed she put a small portion most of the time not only happened twice or so but many times now. Last week I got a combo 2 and the squid as you can see it only has 2 squid in it.

I rarely find a decent lechon kawali. Dare I say it? Their’s was the best I’ve ever had. Lovely puffy, crispy skin and tender fat and meat. Many places make their mung bean soup pretty plain, but their’s was loaded with other veggies. Meal was also reasonably priced. Only drawback was that water to drink wasn’t available.

online orders aren’t working but they will charge your card regardless. I placed an online order for $80 and when I arrived they not only didn’t have my order, they told me to call my bank to reverse the charge. They did offer me a suitable substitution but i really wish I got what I ordered in the first place.

I ordered from Lechon Manila several months ago and the food was excellent! They close at 1:00 so I need to PLAN when I want to satisfy my craving for Filipino food. A week ago I tried another Filipino restaurant. Never again. Lechon Manila is my go-to place! I will set my alarm to call ahead and be sure they have Pancit Bihon and only order from them. Their food is as close to my pop’s and auntie’s cooking as I can get. I’ve tried making my own but I don’t have the “touch”! Fresh, tasty and so, so good! Thank you!!!!
