My wife and I went here on our anniversary. The service was over the top. Very attentive and considerate. We loved our food. We started with an appetizer with melted Brie cheese and it was incredible. Wife had the steak and I had the fettuccine. Great dessert. We eat out a lot and we really enjoyed the food here!!

Had a few things. We got Bruschetta, I got the Bucatini Putanesca Gamberoni, and my friend got the Ribeye. The service was excellent (especially for a small town). All the food was delicious, steak was perfectly cooked, mine had plenty of prawns. The noodles were local, fresh and very good. I’m not sure anything would have improved the experience.

By far the best meal my honey and I have ever had. We made a reservation, and we were seated quickly. The waitress and floor manager were both incredibly attentive. The food is what hit home for us, though. Every bite was heaven in our mouth. We certainly will be back here for our next night without kids.

I like local owned. Presentation is great. Nice dishes. You can tell a lot of care goes into the ingredients. Chef is great. Kitchen clean. Very friendly staff. Ferndale is fortunate to have such a great place.

If going down across the border I strongly recommend this restaurant. When visiting my dad in Ferndale we took him here for his birthday. Freshly made in house pasta was amazing with pesto sauce. Perfectly cooked prime rib. Gorgeous architecture, great ambiance, excellent service. Owner knows his wine. A gem in a small town. Just off exit 262 is this great Italian restaurant.

The chef was out of the kitchen more than inside cooking. All he was doing is self congratulating himself on his ok food. For one, the onion soup turned my stomach afterwards like it had expired. The cambazola had canned stewed tomatoes and blackened brie like it went bad but melted it to make it “ok”. The risotto was fridge burned in taste and the scallops were a bit under cooked. When a new one was brought out to try, it was undercooked and crunchy. The Ragu sauce for the rigatoni was crunchy and had an off taste to it after the fact, like it had been sitting in the fridge too long. The meatballs along with the rigatoni were different states of fresh/old. The first one I ate was kinda ok, the other two were drier and had a small crust on them like they were frozen in the meantime. The big expectation being the lasagna, was weird/bad tasting. When the “chef” came by to check on our food we asked what was up with it and how fresh it was. He said he makes the lasagna every 4 days or so in a big pan, waits a day for it to cool. It was literally just much on a plate with a strange tomato taste. Dessert wise, was OK. My tiramisu was far from the picture on the reviews. It was literally just a hobbled together mess with coco powder in a stemless martini glass. Overall, the owner was there to makes sure we agreed with what he said about his “amazing food”. I literally got bad food poisoning from this experience which I will address where it needs to be. We went in on a Saturday evening on a holiday weekend and it was less than 50% full, no wait. Our waitress was nice and all but kept forgetting the water and basics as the meal progressed. Not like the restaurant was full. Also, the amount of time it took from sit down to leaving was over 2 hours. It took a while to get food at all. Definitely wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone! I don’t understand how it has 4 stars as this place only scores with me on simple customer service. The bill was almost $300 for really underwhelming food that’s expired. Definitely a candidate for Kitchen Nightmares if it was still being aired. Won’t be back. Cannot emphasis enough how bad it was.

This is my new favorite restaurant only about a mile from my house the best Italian food I’ve had in ages. They are open right now for take out due to Covid. I have just opened up an outside seating area so there can be some dining on site they have delicious food and wine. They have wonderful owners and kind staff. If you live near Ferndale check them out and support them if you can.

What a gem of a place! We were staying nearby at the Silver Reef hotel and via google maps found this Italian restaurant nearby. I highly recommend it – amazing service, wine selection with out of this world food. We went for the specials and went away with smiles on our faces.
