We’re a Belgian bakery and restaurant serving simple, wholesome and seasonal food. Le Pain Quotidien means “the daily bread” in French, and like our name suggests, we’re bakers at heart. Although our handmade, organic bread is how we got our start, we serve a variety of healthy options like organic coffee, pastries, eggs, tartines, soups, salads and desserts.
At Le Pain Quotidien, we believe that food should be simple, nourishing and delicious. That’s why we source ingredients that are local or organic whenever possible. We also believe in the importance of eating a healthy, plant-based diet, so you’ll find many vegetarian or vegan options on our menu.
Based on 374 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.2 stars. Price $$

We have been here a couple of times, and it’s always been a good experience.

I never felt compelled to leave a review ever before in my life but this place just does it.

Everything we had was pretty good. The bacon, egg, and avocado sandwich was tasty but not that filling. The side salad that it came with was good. Nothing really stood out, but no complaints.

Come grab a baguette and some coffee. All the tables have gourmet preserves and chocolate paste. The brunch menu is pretty good as is the egg and avocado sandwich.

This place is so beautiful inside and has a great atmosphere to it. Unfortunately the food was not up to the same standard. I got breakfast there as soon as they opened at 8 and my baguette and other bread was hard as a rock. They must have just used the leftover from the previous day. The same goes for the Almond croissant I ordered. It just seemed old and not fresh. Not much almond cream inside either. I was disappointed. I will say the Dutch mini pancakes were quite good, though. As far as service, my server was just a bit inattentive. I had to go searching for her a few times. Not sure I’d come back but for a coffee.

We came here to buy some bread and pastries during weekend lunch time. They had several types of pastries, bread and desserts. The hazelnut flute was very hard to bite. The double chocolate cookie was sweeter than I wished. The apple turnover was pretty good. The passion fruit tart was also good. We would come back for some items but probably not others. The interior design was nice & we would consider dining in next time.

Came here for lunch because I loved the look of the place; it reminded me of a couple of french cafés I’d visited. A little disappointed by the very loud waitress who shouted across the room when I wanted to order, but overall the food was pleasant, and so was the view. 🙂

My husband and I came on a Saturday afternoon. The restaurant was busy. We seated ourselves after a server told us to sit anywhere. No one brought us menus until we asked. My husband ordered a Belgium waffle and the portion was tiny, definitely not filling for one person! The sandwich I got was a decent portion. Both food choices tasted good.
