I brought my husband here for his birthday & it was a beautiful experience for us. My husband & i ordered Lambi, diri AK djon djon & poule an sauce (All dishes were absolutely AMAZING). We’ve tried a lot of Haitian restaurants in NY and we both agreed the food here comes the closest to home cooked food- it was seasoned PERFECTLY!, not too salty, & it made my husband’s day. Also, the chef was so sweet when she heard it was my husband’s birthday she brought out a cake at the end of the meal with one of those sparkling candles that looks like a firecracker and sang happy birthday….and the cake was also AMAZING.Thank you Le Cap

Got homesick craving Haitian food coming back from a trip, we found this place real close to JFK and we did not regret it!! 10/10 would highly recommend!! Best haitian restaurant, took my husband on a lunch date today, he’s first time tasting Haitian food oh boy he really enjoyed the food, Very lovely restaurant, food was excellent, service was friendly and attentive also the Madame aka chef was super friendly and came out the kitchen and interact with us. We definitely left satisfied (with no leftovers). 10/10 recommend, will return.

Awesome experience. Went on a Wednesday night around 9pm and they were welcoming and made us feel right at home. Their cook is great. The griot was not overcooked and was very tender. The goat was delicious and the shrimp was amazing! Highly recommend those items and this is added to my list of favorite haitian restaurants! The portion sizes are very filling!
