The food is very good! They did get my order mix up with someone else’s. I ordered a shrimp Po boy, but got a fish instead. I ate it anyway and I enjoyed it. It’s a nice place to eat in or take out.

Old-school diner with burgers and Louisiana classics. Food is good with solid portions. You will wait about 15-20 minutes after ordering if it’s busy. Not the cleanest place but that’s to be expected at an old joint.

Sign said “ Good food not fast food” and they weren’t kidding, it took 40 minutes for 2 burgers and 2 curly fries… I don’t mind waiting and yes they were busy but with 8 people working the front counter more worried about whose having and issue with who and discussing it in front of your patrons is so unprofessional and adds to the irritation of waiting on food, if 8 people have time to chit chat about other coworkers then a 40 minute wait for 2 burgers is ridiculous. If I’m ever in that area again, this wouldn’t be a stop I’d make. Good food or not,the attitudes of the young women at the counter was so off putting.
