This was our first time at Lazy Day Cafe, but definitely won’t be our last. Excellent food, friendly & efficient service and great prices. The Sunday fried chicken special was large enough to share and their homemade pies are amazing. I highly recommend the peanut butter pie. Perfect place to stop for ice cream after kayaking or lunch after church.

This place is AMAZING!!! This is a hidden gem. The food was hot and fresh. sliced brisket was OUTSTANDING!! I can’t believe how good it was! Fried pickles with the chipotle ranch was cleared homemade! Pickles were hand battered! BLT had crispy bacon and was tasty! The service was great!!! Shelby was so nice!! I have mentioned the atmosphere! Sit outside and enjoy!!

Beautiful little spot out the the woods of rural Douglas County nestled next to a picturesque lake, especially in the Fall. The staff is friendly and they really take good care if anything isn’t quite like what you expected. We’re making it a point to dine there often.

Everything is overpriced frozen food heated up. The crispy chicken sandwich was two tiny generic chicken strips on a bun. I’m not sure what has changed in the past year but it’s very disappointing.
