We ordered couscous with chicken, lamb shank with fries and rice with artichoke hearts and ground beef. All good, lamb is perfect texture, spice is a bit more on the sweet side. Couscous is very flavorful and fries is great.

Came here for the first time for dinner, (around 5pm on a Thursday) Place opens at 4:30pm. Had no issues getting a table. Heard nothing but good things about this place and my friends were right. A good selection of Mediterranean dishes. I got the chicken kabob plate while my friend got the salmon. I loved the fries. Good selection of fruit drinks, but didn’t get them this time. The staff was really nice. The place was packed by the time we left.

My boss and I go to a new local spot every week to support local businesses and give our perspective on what’s around. Restored Realty is looking to help those in the area or moving to the area by being an expert on the local best kept secrets. When we went to Layla Mediterranean Grill and Mezze we LOVED IT!!! Abraham was our server and he was excellent, we lacked for nothing. We started off with the grape leaf rolls and they were tender and bursting with flavor. We went on to get the Lamb Burger special and the Chicken Curry Lunch. Both items were well seasoned without being overpowering or overwhelming. The cook on the Lamb Burger was perfect, it was not gamey or overdone, the cucumber mint sauce on top was a perfect compliment. The french fries and sauce that came with were the perfect addition, crispy but not overdone and the sauce was zingy and yummy. The chicken Curry was traditional and had an amazing blend of flavors that all compliments each other. The chicken was tender and the rice was perfect. We loved the atmosphere as well, everything was very clean and relaxing. We will definitely be back!!! Check this place out for sure!!!!

It’s my first time at Holladay today, and we went here for dinner. And gosh, the place looked so nice. Perfect when you just wanna have a good catch-up night with your girlfriends. They have a good selection of wines too, but I felt so full already. I didn’t even get to finish my Musakhen.

This place was incredible. It has this family feel where you can just tell they really care. The owner was there helping out when it got busy for lunch rush. The server was extremely attentive and fun and the food delicious. We were able to get really full on their vegetarian dishes. The atmosphere was like a portal in time to a cozy Mediterranean town. Thank you!

Every bite was a symphony to my taste buds! The original flavors from a smoked eggplant dip to a rosebud gelato are unmatched. The service and atmosphere were superb! Looking forward to my next visit!

We love this place. The food is amazing, the service is fantastic, and the restaurant is charming. The appetizers are a must and the walnut spread is unique and the best thing on the menu.

NOT WORTH THE MONEY I ordered some take out for my family the shrimp was over cooked charcoal the extra shrimp that I ordered came in small pieces of foil and when I opened them up all of the juice spilled on me the shawarma meat was WAY over cooked with no flavor what so ever I can say for sure that’s not what shawarma supposed to taste like my husband and I are avid travelers and we have been to Many different Middle Eastern countries.

Nice atmosphere and good service. Ordered Falafel, beef shawarma and chicken shawarma. Falafel was okay but too crispy. Both beef and chicken shawarma were horrible and very bland almost tasteless! Is this place even authentic?

I think our server was new so the service seemed a little lacking. The food, by far, made up for any service issues. This had to be some of the best food I’ve had in SLC.
