Went here to celebrate a birthday brunch. Although I feel like the service was a little slow, the overall experience was good. To start we ordered the mimosa tower for a party of 6 and we estimated about 10-12 drinks so for $70 not a bad deal at all. The smash burger I had was good, but the fries were amazing they were so delicious. The flat bread Buffalo chicken pizza was really good. To finish we had the cupcake carousel which gives 6 cupcakes on a carousel with sparklers. This place is definitely catered towards the bachelorette parties and the birthday parties. The aesthetics and lights are setup for those “that girl” pictures. One thing that was odd and didn’t seem right was the DJ being in the front by the door especially since in the morning people are sitting and eating and the DJ seems to be bumping but by themselves.

Visited Layer Cake during my friend’s bachelorette weekend and had a great time! Our server was very personable and kind. The food and drinks were delicious. We even got to check out the other “layers” of the building after we ate.

We had an amazing Sunday brunch! We had a mimosa tower (3 bottles of champagne with orange, pineapple, and cranberry juices to mix with. My wife had the breakfast pizza and I had the American breakfast! Service was great, atmosphere was perfect, and the food was so good! It’s a must when visiting Nashville!!

I loved the concept of layer cake. We got to look at each of the three floors to see where we might want to sit. We chose the first level in the yellow zone. All of the first floor has live music, so the ambiance was nice. However, since the door is kept open at all times, there were huge flies congregating near our table. I also noticed that several of the brightly colored velvet furniture was fifty and grey. I felt as though my food was delicious, but I might not try this place again accept for drinks and only the on 2nd floor area.

What a wonderful change from the norm on Broadway. The drinks were delicious, the bar service was on point, and the food was phenomenal. I loved the Marie Antoinette themed atmosphere.

Stopped in while waiting for friends to finish a tour. What a place to stumble upon. The main floor is so vibrant and fun! Stealing their blue look for our home bar we loved it so much! Drinks were good and we munched on some flatbread. Great place for fun pics!

Popped in here as it was less crowded during the day than some other spots. It did not have live music so perhaps that is why, however the food was excellent! I got sliders, my group got chicken tenders and smashburgers and everyone was very pleased – portions were good. I also got a cake for 2 to go and it was definitely large and delicious.

It’s probably one of if not the best brunch spot in the downtown Broadway area. The cocktails are really good, too. Plus, if you are with a big group, let’s say bachelorettes or something… they can accommodate your table. Good spot for celebrations or late night clubbing. It’s a scratch kitchen and def one of if not the best around Broadway. If you are tired of the honky tonks or got burnt out on Chris Stapleton or Blake Shelton the Layer Cake has your fix. They feature a roster of excellent DJs that live to bump edm,hip hop, regatone, and top 40 bangers. Get the frose when it’s busy because it slaps and it’s quick. Also if you come in the morning you just might see #oceanthebartender making your cocktail. If you’re a local, this will easily become your favorite non country bumping bar outside of LA jackson or Mother’s Ruin. They have some of the best deserts in town as well, including some features with goo goo cluster. You won’t want to miss this celebration destination during your Nashville adventures.

Went for a friend’s Birthday. The bartender was our server. He was so personable and had such a great personality. Never felt like we waited for anything. I got the Salmon. It was ok. The Asparagus was huge, but I didn’t prefer it. I will be back though. I wish I had remembered to order cake.
