Had the opportunity to meet the youngest Michelin chef ever. He is still at the top of his game and my experience has been amazing. If you’re ever in D.C, make sure you bookmark this restaurant! This place might get a Michelin star soon. Be sure to try the cocktails too!

Best meal of our DC trip. Got this restaurant off the EaterDC website and was super happy. The dress is formal and the volume is low but there is a happy murmur.

Phenomenal dinner, best French I’ve had in the US. Worthy of a Micheline star.

Hands down the best French restaurant in DC. Modern fare so you won’t see all the classics, but you won’t miss those either.

After reading most of the other reviews, looks like we’re swimming against the current. Maybe we just hit on an off night. We thought most of the food was average. (The grilled octopus was an exception – it was fantastic). The problem is you can’t have average food at this price point. Service was fine. I wish we’d had a better experience. Would not go back.

Fantastic meal and service. Everything was top notch from ambiance to cocktails to the meal itself. Space feels trendy but inviting. All the courses were superb, really enjoyed all of it. Would def come back.

What a wonderful dinner. I went to Chef Epié’s Citrus Etoile in Paris in 2016 and was excited to see an announcement that he is opening a restaurant here in the US. My friends were blown away with the quality of the food, along with the professionalism and personability of the staff. This is definitely a must visit restaurant for a dining experience. As for the person below who walked in opening week and complained they wouldn’t let them sit when there were tables and seats available, keep in mind that there may be seats and then a half hour the restaurant could have full reservations, dinner can take up to 3 hours and those who made the reservations would be quite upset with the delay because someone didn’t plan accordingly. Also, IMHO, the prices would still be a value at a 30-50% price increase for some dishes, I know places that just charge $30 for truffle shavings to be added to the plate and here it’s included in a lot of the dishes!

Fady and Chef Gilles have created a comfortable and warm restaurant unlike any in DC. The renovation over the whole seating area including the bar, wine area, the fire place, are nothing short of posh. Even the furniture is extremely comfortable.
