Okay, if you are looking for that “Hole in the wall” “mom and pop” diner/Cafe, this is the place. Absolutely great experience. The food is beyond excellent. If you are in Honesdale and are hungry, you gotta stop at Laurel’s.

My husband, I and our dog visited this restaurant since it was the only dog friendly breakfast place around. I have to give a thumbs up to the lovely staff who were all so dog friendly and promptly brought him a bowl of water. I ordered a plate of eggs and bacon for him and they were very generous with the portions. Human food was okay and i could tell that some of the veggies in my omelette were frozen…but I would go here again for the service!

You won’t leave hungry! An order of hashbrowns fills the plate, and they are cut in house. I got the corned beef hash (also made in house) and cheese omelet. Huge and delicious. Wife got the eggs Benedict, hollandaise was great and eggs were done perfect. We will be back for sure

Definitely could tell this is an actual hometown fav and not a pretentious tourist stop. The sweet potato waffle is worth the trip! Definitely will come back!

Great food with five-star service. Their sausage egg and cheese sandwiches are delicious, and the portion sizes are perfect. They even serve unlimited coffee!

I was extremely excited to try this restaurant out and was disappointed. I heard about this place online and wanted to check it out. Came for breakfast with my boyfriend and got Caramel iced coffees and they were horrible… we did not want to drink it, whatever caramel flavoring they use is not good. We literally could not finish them and iced coffee is out go to! I got chocolate chip pancakes and they were your average pancakes, nothing to rave about. The wait time for the pancakes was a bit long to be honest. I also got toast and it was cold and the butter was clumped on it. I dont think I’d return to this place.

The food is somehow inexpensive, very tasty, and very filling all at the same time. I could not finish my meal, a make it yourself omelette with home fries. My meat was so filling that I am taking over half of it home for later. Amazingly, my hefty meal was only $10. I will return, it is a must with food this glorious.
