My wife and I ate here twice. Our second time we were treated like second class citizens. The first time we ate here the food was good but the service was bad. We still tip the standard 20% being a former service worker I feel compelled to do so at the end of any meal. Never know if the server was “in the weeds.” Fast forward a few more weeks to this past Saturday and we never got service… We sat for 15 minutes in a restaurant that only had four seated tables when we arrived, while other customers walked in and got service almost immediately after sitting down. The server for our section even tended to the table next to us, ignoring us the whole time. Being in Brickell you would expect better service. I don’t know if we were ignored because my wife is Haitian, if it was because I speak English only, or some other issue? But I can assure you “Balan`s” on 901 S. Miami Ave in “Brickell Mary Village” will give you proper service, the food and prices are better too.

Food was good. Service not so much. Highly recommend to work on better customer service both waiters and managers. We had to sit for 10 mins before someone ask us if we want to order anything while 2 different managers were passing back and forward. My coffee took about 7 mins to arrive after the order, while milk shake was ready in 2 mins… $40 for all the food.
