Latham’s Hamburger Inn Menu – New Albany, MS

Type : Hamburger restaurant

Location : New Albany, MS

There are many great burger joints but few have stood the (taste) test of time like Latham’s Hamburger Inn. Despite being located in a small town, the eatery has endured through the decades. Open for about 90 years, Latham’s Hamburger Inn has been in this location since 1974. It was then that they moved from across the street, enclosing a former alley. And it’s not only a local favorite. Latham’s Hamburger Inn has been featured on the Travel Channel’s popular show, Burger Land, and in George Motz’s best-selling book Hamburger America. Since opening it’s received countless accolades, including its most recent – being dubbed the state’s best hole-in-the-wall burger joint.

Based on 125 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.4 stars. Price $

Beautiful restaurant – the brick walls are particularly pretty. There are vintage items, like farm implements, displayed on the walls. I and my friend agreed that these were the best burgers we have ever had. I had 1 with lettuce, and my friend had the smashburger – fries were excellent as well. Friendly servers and prompt service.

Super cute place! Cash only, so be prepared for that. The ladies working were so sweet! We will have to come back next time we’re in town. The burgers had a great texture and crunch, and our loaded fries were delicious.

I heard about this place, but was highly disappointed. The dough burger was hard and crunchy it was like eating hard pork crackling . It had no flavor . The buns was soggy. The lady behind the counter was nice and friendly. Only good experience I had.

Great food served by a great bunch of folks. The burgers never disappoint, but always order an extra one, trust me, or you’ll be going back in for a second, or third! Money talks, plastic walks. Be sure to take cash with you for payment.

I love Latham’s hamburgers! I have wonderful memories of eating there with my dad and granddad as a child. The same wonderful taste then and now. I have had other dough burgers but in my opinion they don’t compare to Latham’s

First time lve been to this place, and first time l had a dough burger. Everything about this place was the best. The decor inside was great, like a 70s bar, the people were excellent.

The foods good, but the lady taking orders is bitter and rude. I probably would be too if I was 40 something years old spending my saturdays in a hamburger shop.
