Great for groups of 4-6. The long tables seat 8, theoretically, but to enjoy hotpot or bbq, some elbow room is nice. Variety pretty wide. Music two notches too high. Hazy steamy vibe reminds me of sauna or hot spring and everyone looks younger in throught the haze, just don’t wear cashmere or wool, unless you enjoy the lasting aroma soaked in your sweater. Drinks not included in the all you can eat price. On the pricy side, esp if you are not into the weirder stuff on the menu (offal, tongue, ear, which I personally like). For the more regular fare, there are hotpot buffets of better value in this wonderful town of Philly.

Knowledgeable staff, will work with non-meat dietary restrictions. Not only that but there were so many options, I was able to eat until I was as full as everyone else! You can get one big bowl of broth, one big bowl with two broths or personal if you are the only vegetarian in your group. 10/10 a tasty and fun experience!

Had an awesome time at LaTao. It is AYCE hotpot and you can choose to share or have your personal hot pot. Great variety of different stocks to choose from, from spicy to mild. Quality was definitely there – very delicious, rich and savory broths with tons of choices for ingredients. Portions may be a tad smaller but it helps avoid food waste and you can keep ordering more. Service was excellent and they were very very attentive and patient especially since we had a few first timers in our group. Great place to hang out and just enjoy some good food as a group or family. Note that on weekends you do pay the dinner price but since it is AYCE with the full dinner menu and the ingredients are of great quality it is definitely worth it.

Fun place for dinner near where my kid goes to university. We have only ever ordered the Hot Pot so I can’t speak for the BBQ. For the Hot Pot, all of the foods seem fresh and well prepared. Meats are good, any you can ask for any of choices, as often as you like. You can have up to 3 broths at any one table which is nice when people have different tastes or want to try different flavors. I don’t remember the menu, but there must be 8 or more different broths. Many different selections of meat, fish and vegetables. 2 different noodles, ramen & udon. Waitstaff is attentive, courteous, constantly coming around to check if you want more and clearing empty plates. Dinner was about $30 per person. Great place to eat, and you will probably leave eating a little too much.

Amazing place, I go here every week or so to get an all-you-can-eat experience. I especially love the fatty meats as well as the pork belly. The servers are also really nice. They taste amazing!

This was my first Hot Pot experience and I am in ❤! It was all so delicious, and I knew my husband would try something unique, and he did. He had lots of interesting choices… from pig brains to intestines and he chose duck feet I had things I am familiar with; steak, shrimp and noodles; all so delicious! I will be back next time I’m in Philly!!! Customer service was outstanding. Servers had so much patience with Hot Pot novices
