I had an awesome time at this spot – it’s over 100 years old and full of character. The bar itself is located in the basement, which adds a unique and cozy atmosphere to the place. While I was there, I also checked out their back room, which is filled with games and other fun activities.

Very cool bar with great food. The bar is actually below ground. Walk in the front door from the sidewalk or parking lot and go downstairs then go into the bar. Bar food but it’s great. Cheese curds were perfect and served with buffalo ranch. Burgers are good but the Monte Cristo croissant with ham and cheese and strawberry sauce is wonderful. Very cool stained glass light fixtures. Staff was friendly and fast.

Amazing Food Made to Perfection Super Fast and Friendly Services. I had a Double Bacon Cali Burger and my Wife had Chicken Strips and Fries. Last Turn has the best Cheese Curds in Brainard or Baxter the Made from scratch sauce is to die for. Definitely a place to take that special someone or the whole family if you enjoy good food and a friendly welcoming environment

Great food and awesome ambiance. A little tough to find the right door for the uninitiated, but worth it. Lots of vintage vibes throughout from the stained glass light fixtures and exposed old brickwork, down to the handsome rustic woodwork – the back bar is an awesome piece I guess originally adorned the dining room of the Pillsbury mansion!

We were in town for the races and wanted to try a new place to eat. Came across the Last Turn and stopped by. Service was good and the food was okay. Could use a lot more seasoning and less stuff from Sysco. With a cool location like that I’d expect some made from scratch food, not just regular Ole bar food. The whole family loved the atmosphere. Honestly it’s the Old Bones that will bring us back. Just to sit there and think of all the history those walls, and floors, have seen is worth a basket of fries. The few vintage arcade games are pretty awesome too, in a nostalgic way.

Stopped because of the location and wanted lunch. Location is pretty cool. In the basement of an old brick building in Brainerd. Very neat to see that, such as an old phone booth. Service was good as well …. but the food was not. Burger that was like a hockey puck it was so burnt. Onion rings were good, but I’d skip the food, get a drink, enjoy the surroundings, eat somewhere else.

Buffalo chicken Mac & cheese had about 1 piece of chicken stick in it and was made with Velveeta type cheese. The “Fiiz” was a good Reuban sandwich. The beer was cold and the atmosphere was great.
