Great menu, great food, and great service. We went once for lunch and we also ordered take out once late at night. I tried calling but couldn’t get through. I was staying at the hotel right next door, so I walked over. I found a waitress, I believe her name was Katie, she was busy but she took the time to quickly take my order and get it in quick before the kitchen closed. She was super helpful and nice! Both waitresses we had there were awesome!

I am a local. We were promptly seated at the new tables. This was a Monday and the place was not crowded at all. The bar is looking great…but no one ever came over to us. Other waitresses were in the area talking to tables. The host stand was fully staffed. We sat for about 20 minutes and then walked out. Hosts and manager were right there and did not say a word.

Saturday was my first time visiting La Scala since the name change. I ordered the Fire wings and La scala crab fries because what I orginally wanted to order was not available even though it was posted on the online menu. At this time, the resturant is using a limited menu until the inside of the resturant is renovated. The fire wings and crabs fries were good. My friend ordered the Alicia’s Sunday dinner and she loved it. She said the meatballs tasted just like how her mom would make them. I definitely look forward to coming back when the Resturant is operating at full capacity with the complete menu. The Resturant is in a great location and has good food so it’s super busy. I suggest going earlier in the day if you don’t want to wait for a table.

Just a really terrible experience compared to how this place used to be years ago. The serving sizes are embarrassingly small for the price of each meal. The quality of food is poor. It’s like they just didn’t know what to cook so defaulted to Italian food… by the beach. We had to ask for silverware, bread, water, salt, and cheese more than once. The atmosphere is great. The bar itself is awesome. I’ll come and drink anytime but I would never eat here again.
