Took a friend for his birthday yesterday. Very impressed with the food and service. I’ve heard mostly good things but a few less than nice comments. This is certainly not a run up your flag if you want more food restaurant. Food was excellent and very inventive compared to many similar restaurants. Our server, Shelby, was very attentive, checking on us several times. She even handled my teasing with great aplomb.

Our server, Maria, was great and attentive. We had the quail special and the ocho combo (chicken enchilada and chili relleno), watermelon margarita, and queso. The queso was delicious and served in a pretty deep dish. We had lots of leftovers. The queso also comes with puffed fried tortilla chips. The table chips and salsa was good except the chips tasted a little off due to what I believe was fried in old oil, but im hoping that was a one time thing. The red salsa was served warm and the guacamole cream salsa were amazing! Over all, delicious. Plus the vibe of the restaurant was amazing. The space is also huge, something you don’t expect when looking at it from the parking lot.

Have been there twice. The food & service have been great, however i would recommend that the manager(s) be more involved. My friend & I where sitting at the bar & there where 3 very obnoxious individuals (lets call them North American pavement apes) making lots of noise and screaming at each other. The bartender indicated to us that they had been there since noon, this was @ 6pm. Upon leaving the bartender told us that they spent $150 and did not leave a tip. My friend & I gave her a $140 tip on our $50 bill. The managers should pay more attention to these details.

Update… Best margaritas around Luling, and the food too. This place has become my to go spot now LOL (lunch, dinner, brunch, birthday celebration, after graduation dinner,etc) I’m hooked with it. And my favorite server… Shelby!!!! She is the best!

Tried to come here when it first opened and was turned away due to them only having one cook. A new restaurant. No worries. Well we decided to come in today two days after Christmas and this is our experience. Hostess was sweet. Our waitress was sweet. So staff was on point. Restaurant is beautiful inside and big. Chips and the dip are Really good. Problems we had: Food took almost a hour to get. And came cold. Big portions which was nice but it was cold and by time food came out we were full of the chips and dip. We ordered tortillas soup. One of my favorite things to eat at a Mexican restaurant and I love making home made. It was watered down, and only have large chunks of veggies in it. More like a veggie soup. I ordered chalupas and got tortillas shells covered with lettuce and chicken. I’m a huge foodie and my go to comfort food is Mexican and disappointed. I hope they can improve on this.

The drinks ( marg flight of raspberry, peach, kiwi, and hazelnut) were delicious. The food was really good and the service was excellent as well!! Our server Jailyn was fantastic! We came from metairie and we will definitely be coming back!
