One of my favorites in Buffalo and anywhere else for that matter. The technique and level of detail in the dishes and flavor profiles is incredible. Also very accommodating for vegetarians given notice! Expensive but worth it. Definitely not your typical Mexican restaurant in Buffalo, and that’s a good thing. That mole! And the desserts! So good.

Had a great experience with the Chef Tasting menu here. Every dish was very unique and unlike anything I’ve had at other restaurants. My favorites were the pork, pea tamale and peaches dessert with ice cream and cornbread crumble. We requested a mocktail pairing instead of wine pairing and they were happy to oblige. The mocktails were also very unique. Cute restaurant interior and excellent service. The restaurant is located in a great up and coming neighborhood with lots of cute places.

I came here on a cold Sunday night w my GF, after finding this resto on Tock. I am giving it a 4 only b/c of my singular experience this day. I bet another time it would be a 5. We did their tasting menu- ironically I’d say the main course could’ve used more taste (molé chicken). In my opinion the tasting menu should be refined before charging standard tasting menu prices (4 course, mostly small portions). Otherwise great drinks and really nice environment inside with minimal but nice decor for a clean look and feel.

Phenomenal experience. Be prepared to trust your palate to chef Victor and you won’t be disappointed. His tasting menu makes you feel like your living an episode of top chef or at some high end restaurant in New York city or Los angels. Yes, it’s pricey but the level of food and service makes it worth it. Highly recommended!

The food, drinks, and service were very good and mostly justified the price of the fixed tasting menu. The atmosphere was also very pleasant. The only issue I have is that the location of the restaurant is not great. It’s in a somewhat shady part of town.

Great service and some of the most delicious plates I’ve ever had. It’s truly unique and hand crafted with such passion. The guacamole is of course a crowd pleaser but there is so much more to this place. It’s well priced and again, an experience you won’t forget.

First, the food and plating is amazing. Chef Gonzalez effortlessly balances the complexity of flavors in each dish to please the palate. But wait, when the plate lands on your table like a beautiful mariposa, he casts a spell, a moment in time where everything stands still, the clock is broken as you look at the presentation, the art on the plate, hesitant to use your fork as a sledgehammer to particle smash the most beautiful thing you’ve seen on that day.
