This place serves pretty decent food in a older roadhouse type building. There’s nothing fancy about this place, straight up Mexican breakfast faves, but I have to say these guys serve the BEST homemade flour tortillas I have ever tasted. You could make a small meal out of these things as they are large and somewhat dense, but fluffy at the same time. Overall, the food was above average, but the flour tortillas are a MUST order….

They offer huge portions at reasonable prices. The tortillas are made fresh 8n house. The large bowl of menudo is big enough for three people to share.

I’ve gone twice and bought two tacos each time. The food was decent, just didn’t stand out with flavor though. Each time I bought there was a long wait even though there wasn’t much traffic. Overall it’s ok, It wouldn’t be my first choice.

Food is good. Had the beef enchiladas and they were good. The refried beans here are probably some of the best I’ve ever had as well as their salsa. They have excellent barbacoa tacos too.

Getting your order through the drivethru takes forever, even when there’s only one car! Too expensive for what you get and to top it off there was hair in my taco. Disgusting. Never again.

Puro Tejano , affectionately describes the menu here . The menu has polish sausage and egg tacos , the cheese used is American processed commonly used in Tex Mex menus . The beans have a slightly smoked flavor found in almost every Tex Mex establishment. I highly recommend this place if you are someone raised on the south west side of San Antonio or appreciate a Mom and Pop establishment that gives that warm vibe of visiting your favorite Tías (aunts) house ,,, speaking of Tias the tortillas are some of the best .

The young man was nice and polite but when we some some “nachos” back because they were literally stuck to the plate we could hear someone in the kitchen hollering and yelling at him and saying that’s what we ordered. We didn’t know nachos was shredded cheese in the microwave to the point you couldn’t pick the chips off the plate because it was stuck to the plate!! I decide not to make a big deal because the 2 young servers were nice and polite. Most of the food was good.
