I cannot say better things about this place! Accidentally discovered it a few weeks back and didn’t think I’d have many options to eat being a vegan. I was 100% wrong!! They have accidentally vegan items and numerous more that can be adjusted to be vegan!! We’ve been back a couple times and it’s been great. The service especially is great here! I just found out that Las Palapas is run by the same family as Ruthie’s Mexican Restaurant, literally our favorite Mexican place in SA and well that makes sense! That’s why Las Palapas is so awesome! I had the stuffed avocado and the vegetable enchiladas with Verde sauce. Chips and salsa too! All vegan! Just remember to ask them to leave out the cheese and to leave off the crema sauce!

We absolutely love this restaurant! Tonight, I had the Macho Style Burrito, again, and the Hubby had the Enchiladas Con Crema again. We loved both dishes as usual. I had two strawberry margaritas, so yum!! The chips were great, and the salsa was fresh, thick, not too spicy, and so yum! Ordered sopapillas to go. Got home and tried them, omg! So good!!

The location is very accessible. I went during a weekday at lunch time (drive thru) and there was no wait. They gave me a combination of beef and chicken on my salad, although I only asked for chicken, which is why I gave them 4 stars. They did let me know before I drove off and offered to remake the salad. Due to timing, I was unable to accept. Salad was good, but it is worth noting that it isn’t a traditional salad – not the healthiest option. Salad is accompanied by salsa verde.

Excellent, authentic Mexican cuisine with great customer service. Las Palapas definitely makes an effort to take care of their customers and provide a pleasant dining experience. The food is always served hot and fresh, and the drinks are delicious and well-made . We love Las Palapas. Es el sabor real de Mexico ! Oralé! ¡Viva Las Palapas!

My waitress Alexandra made this a great visit. She was very friendly and attentive, often checking on me. The food was great too, I had shrimp enchiladas with crema sauce and jalapeno dip for chips. It also helped getting out of the heat and drinking sweet tea. Thanks Alexandra.

Just about every Las Palapas I’ve gone to is amazing the one in Schertz Texas by Costco in my opinion is the best one the one on Austin Highway is even better lol no but seriously I forgot the one on Austin Highway the manager is extremely professional and that’s a very nice location they set up a nice bar and outside seating area that’s perfect. Now aside from all the good news on those locations the only bad experience I’ve had was the one on 410 and West Avenue which is fairly new I had a male gentleman who waited on me and was very young that was pretty rude skinny guy very soft spoken and I’m not trying to be mean or anything but I’m just saying to identify him because I don’t remember his name but I think he was gay but he was pretty rude that’s the only bad experience I’ve ever had which was about 3 months ago because that restaurant is really new but the food was fantastic. The food is always great at Las Palapas locations.
