A small, mostly carryout, restaurant in the old downtown area of Buckeye. Based on my one-time experience, they serve really good food. The steak on the fries and burrito had very little fat and was much better than expected. Fries were huge (pic of their Cowboy Fries). Definitely going back.

It was our first time going to Las gemelas . My dad and niece came with my husband and I to try it out. When we went inside it was not too busy. There was no one inside aside from the 3 employees we saw. They were cleaning windows and tables when we went in so it seemed to be well taken care of. The salsa bar had black avocado in it but other then that everything else seemed to be fresh. My dad ordered the asada tostada & shrimp cocktail. My niece ordered Carne asada fries. My husband & I ordered separately from them and had a half order of chicken nachos, 2 carnita sopes & 2 asada taco. My niece & dad got their food first. It was about 5 mins after they ordered. Their food was hot & the cocktail looked good. About 10 minutes later , my sopes came out. I did not start eating because I was waiting for my husband’s food to come. I started looking for the receipt after another 3 or 4 minutes, and then seen that it had already been 22 minutes since we had ordered. We had to remind the workers about our missing food unfortunately. They did make my husband his nachos & taco eventually. It took about 5 mins for the food to come out. The food was hot and fresh and tasted delicious. The sopes were fried well and the carnitas were properly flavored. I would probably go through the drive through if I did come back out here. I am giving this place a 3 out of 5 for the missing food & the [not so] freshness of the salsa bar. I hope to come back again and reconsider their rating with a better experience.

When it comes to enjoy a delicious Mexican dish, with Las Gemelas you can’t go wrong, the food is delicious, the service is great, they threat you with politeness and with a big old smile , and apart from all that the prices are very affordable, the drive thru is always crowded, the weird thing about it is that is surrounded by Motel on every direction .

Didn’t have chicken so I had to substitute for another on the menu. The reason I’m leaving a 1star is because they didn’t even get my order right even after repeating 3 times what I was getting . But it’s ok. Now I know. Take me money somewhere else.

The food is great and the atmosphere is normal for a mom and pop. The service I would have given 5 ⭐’s but the young girls are more worried about the young boys that come in and out of the restaurant rather than make sure your order is right. Be sure to make it seriously important that you hear the order to the cook or you’ll get home and call it in, to be told YOU put the lettuce on the sopes ALL OF THEM (lettuce allergy).

Ordered Fajitas on Uber Eats. No indication that they would be “spicy”. If I knew it was spicy I wouldn’t have ordered. If I want something to have spice I would ask for it. Completely inedible. Waste of money. Do not order from here unless you want a surprise when you order. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

This place is a huge step up from Filiberto’s. The reason I even came here is that the prices are so much lower compared to bertos, and similar places. I went through the drive thru and service was friendly and fast. I ordered the carne asada dinner that comes with rice, beans, and a drink for only $10, and the burrito is HUGE! My wife and I were so pleasantly surprised at how amazing the carne asada tasted. The meat was marinated perfectly, and was so juicy, and fresh. It was some of the best carne asada ive ever had. The guac and pico were also perfect and fresh. The beans were good, and not bland, and so was the rice. It’s worth the 20 minute drive to come here instead of other places, and I know we will be back a lot.

We come here often and it’s normally great. This time we order carne asada fries with guacamole and sour cream on the side. Got home and found they didn’t put any pico de gallo on the fries. :/ I knew I should have checked the order before I left but was trusting it would have been prepared properly.
