Delicious, cheap, local food! Got a tamale, tacos (ask for onions, cilantro, and lemons with it when you get to the register), and beans + rice and everything was top notch 🙂

Always a pleasure to come here !! The food is amazing, and the price you can’t beat!! Highly recommend. Authentic delicious Mexican food I went around 11 and there was a short line that moved fast. There will always be a line so be prepared! Worth the wait though. Cash only. I park at the park and walk over it’s not too far from there. Also you HAVE to get their handmade tortillas they are sooo good!!

If you want real southwest US Mexican food, this is the place. Reminds me of my grandmother’s home made food. Handmade tortillas are unbelievably good. Tacos are perfect as are the beans. Also a bargain. We ordered two meals, with a bottled water and a soda for $15!

Simple and authentic. It’s worth coming to if you don’t have an abuelita to make all of this from scratch at home.

Waited less than an hour but you get your food immediately. Food was great, tasted authentic. If you want menudo, go early. They sell out in a few hours. Flour tortillas were fresh and warm. I had rolled tacos and they were amazing! The salsa they give you is SUPER spicy, so beware! My friends had the chorizo con huevos and the tamales with rice and beans. We also took home a bag of a dozen tortillas and made a breakfast burrito the next day with them. Oh so good!

Came here for tacos on a recommendation. There was a line going out the door and down the street, which it took about 30 minutes to get to the front. You order from their simple menu and they make it right there in front of you before paying. It is CASH ONLY, so ensure you’re carrying at least $10. Abuela was working the register with the help of a tia. Other tias were the cooks. I ordered pork tacos in corn tortilla shells and loaded with the usual. The taco was really delicious and juicy. There are multiple areas to sit if you want to eat in, or you can take away you order. I would definitely come back again.

It’s funny seeing all these people review this place as if they have grown with authentic Mexican food. This isn’t your American-washed “taco shop.” There is no hot “sauce” here, it’s SALSA. Nothing here is appropiated it is all authentic and fresh. Definitely worth the wait if you know what you’re getting if not you should definitely stick to your white-washed taco shops and Cali burritos if that’s what meets your standards in taste. Worth every penny and every second you wait in line.

San Diego classic. If you live here and haven’t been, yet, maybe you should move to Arkansas.
