Save your money. Tacos de lengua is old meat. Tripa tacos are all fat. If you want fat and watery salsa roja. This is your place. And they charge extra for that selection.

Everything here is amazing, we go at least once a week. The lady behind the counter is always friendly and the food comes fast and fresh. Best tacos in Lafayette by far!

OMG I LOVED this place. The tostada was the best I’ve had in a long time. We tried breakfast burritos and tacos de lengua, both delicious! We’re thinking about going back later this evening to try their menudo. PS they sell tamales in the connecting mercado.

We went at about 5pm on a Friday. The place was not busy at all, we were the only customers there. We did have to stand at the counter for a few minutes before we were helped. A young lady eventually did come out to assist us but it did seem like she was preoccupied with something else or that we were otherwise interupting her. We ordered 2 tacos Asada and 2 Al Pastor. The 2 Al pastor were unfortunately pretty dry and flavorless, the 2 Asada at least had a little flavor but still pretty dry. It came with a salsa verde, which was not very spicy, but with lime helped a little bit. Overall, not a bad spot to get simple authentic style tacos. I’m also considering we possibly came at a bad time. I would consider coming back in the future if a local super fan absolutely insisted. Maybe during lunch hour when their focus is hopefully more on the quality of the food. But based off of just this experience, 3/5 is generously the best score I can give them.

I had high hopes for this place. The woman working there acted inconvenienced when I walked in to an empty restaurant.

Options for decent taquerias are surprisingly thin in the Boulder-Denver area, so I’m really glad I found this place. Try their tacos with tripa or lengua.

The staff is incredibly friendly, and the food… the food is some of the most authentic, delicious Mexican food in Colorado. Definitely stop by for the tacos!

Fantastic!! Authentic Mexican food just like mom makes it. The tacos are phenomenal. They are a bit small so if you typically get 4 I would say get 2 extra. The Carne, Tripa & Barbacoa were excellent & the red salsa is perfect. Friendly & fast service.

We have not found a better place around here for tacos and burritos, the elote is amazing, the strawberries and cream perfect. We love this place and go a couple times a week, really. There’s a lot of competition with five Mexican restaurants on this street but this is our favorite, hands down.
