The restaurant is easy to find, but in an area that looks abandoned. The place is small, they keep social distancing. They took a while with the food and it wasn’t so hot. The red beans are canned, horrible taste, everything else was good. When I mentioned the beans, they didn’t say a thing. Less than $30 for 2 people.

I used to love this place. This particular location made me sick on two separate occasions. I have eaten at this location multiple times over a three year period. However, in September of 2020 I got what I believe was food poisoning and because I was pregnant I was hospitalized for severe stomach pain and vomiting. I thought maybe it was a one time thing because I’d never been that sick after eating food before, and I was pregnant. The second time I got sick was more recently January 2022. Within hours of eating the food my entire family had severe stomach pain that resulted in multiple trips to the bathroom.

The original owners were the beat came back after close to 15 years to try this and man.. was I disappointed. Fridayvi had a friend who simply wanted salad on instead of the pork belly and was told no because the price was a set price due to it being the special of the day. We didn’t care about the price he simply wanted salad and was willing to pay the original price. The waiter was beyond rude about the request. Let’s not talk about the Soup and taste of the food to me it lacked taste. Don’t recommend going here unless you’re not use to real Columbian food.

I’m not Colombian, but I’ve eaten my fair share of Colombian cuisine. Let’s just say I’m traumatized over it. A lot of the places I’ve tried seem to not know salt and pepper exist. Or spices, for that matter. This place actually makes good food. It’s tasty, and it’s reasonably priced. Oh and they give you a good quantity too. I look forward to eating here more often.

My stomach has been hurting for a day now since I’ve ordered from here. The chicken breast was horrible. It was tough, and smelled funny. It was around 11 am, so I can tell you that meat was probably preciously cooked. The steak lunch, was incredibly humiliating to say the least. Really? Wth is that? I went by the reviews which were good, and from what I could remember, Colombian food can be pretty good. But everything here was horrible. My kids didn’t even end up eating their food. This led me to officially cancel my Uber eats account entirely. I paid $61 plus in total due to the fees, for something that not only made me sick, and that most of it went to the trash. I’m disappointed.

I strolled in this afternoon with my family. We treated ourselves to pineapple/coconut and guava/cheese pastries, and an arepa with cheese (warmed when requested). The service was excellent and the price was well within my expectations. If I had more time, I would have ordered a meal off of their menu.
