If your looking for a good steak, this is your go to. Best steakhouse in the area, and the service is excellent. They go above and beyond to make sure your getting what you pay for. Be ready to spend some money, it’s not cheap.

Great steaks! We had the bone in tomahawk special. It was cooked beautifully but I do have to say it’s very pricey, definitely somewhere to celebrate something special. We had the lobster roll and oh gosh it was delicious! The drinks were delicious aswell.

On short notice we decided on Larsen’s. Checked on line no available tables for 7:30 pm on Saturday night. My daughter called and they took our reservation, it just got better from then. Cocktails were great, service and atmosphere was fantastic. I limit the amount of red meat I eat but I was craving the prime rib, it did not disappoint. Heads up I think they only serve it on Fridays and Saturdays. Alfredo our server was one of the reasons our experience was fantastic. Great service thank you Alfredo and staff.

Larsen’s in Oxnard California is very pricey. We ordered the Tomahawk steak 32oz for 2 which is $180.00. The steak was cooked very good. The wild rice was okay. The ceaser salad could have been more fresh. The asparagus was okay. The butter cake was dense. I feel with this price you should be able to choose your dessert. We also ordered Chateaubria steak 20oz for 2 which is $130.00. The steak was supposed to be medium and it was rare and didn’t have any flavor. The steak did not look like 20oz.The flemmings salad was okay. The garlic cheese bread was okay. The mac and cheese is delicious. If you go there don’t order the specials. Very pricey and not worth the price. Try something else.

Went for early Valentines Dinner with my Wife. Parking is slightly awkward here, but plentiful, you have to park in back and walk around the side and through a large pleasant breezeway, is all attractive. This Larsen’s Grill has a really nice layout and feel, great architecture, design and ambiance with a wide variety of areas and choices for seating. We were greeted promptly and taken to a table, but we did not like the location and arrangement so requested a booth and were immediately and graciously given a booth (our choice really). Service was very pleasant but our main server was a bit distracted and less attentive than she really should have been, she was frequently conversing with other servers. They have a good Wine List, with some very good and reasonable choices, my Wife enjoyed Rose Champagne (Splits). We started with Salads which they allowed us to Substitute, Tomato & Fresh Burrata w/Pesto & Balsamic and a Wedge Salad, both of which were Excellent. We shared a Valentine Special of NY & Lobster Tails (2) with Fries and Desert included. Lobster was very good but NY was small and very average, bland and slightly tough, fries were good but again rather small serving. We had a Sponge Cake with Fruit and Ice Cream, which was not bad all together.

We got to Larsens often! Janelle is our favorite server! She’s friendly, efficient and such an asset to your restaurant. It’s a restaurant that you will never be disappointed in. I only wish they would serve hot bread and soft butter as soon as you come in!

The food is overpriced for low quality. Service was great and we were seated right away but the food definitely was the biggest disappointment. Unfortunately, we got diarrhea afterwards. It’s a bummer, really.
