We gave Larry’s a try after reading the good reviews and were not disappointed. I had the bacon cheeseburger with crinkle fries and my wife had catfish with greens and butter peas. Everything was perfectly cooked, piping hot, and delicious. The service was friendly, fast and attentive. We’ll definitely be back the next time we camp at Miller’s Ferry.

Food in general is okay. Fries are very good, crisp on the outside and almost creamy in the middle. Fritters were heavy, did not care for them. Burgers are a hardy portion but all the flavor will be in the toppings so ask for them with everything. Would not travel very far out of my way to eat there but at the same time, it’s not disappointing for the money if you are in Camden and need a reasonably priced place to eat that is a step above fast food. Wait staff was courteous and kept the drinks filled. Did not have to wait to be seated.

First time there, ordered the double cheeseburger. Great tasting burger, excellent service, fair pricing. Recommend this place if you’re hungry for a cheeseburger in Camden Alabama. They do get really busy during the lunch and dinner hours so be prepared for up to a 30 minute wait on your order.

They always have great food, but their customer service is usually not good. I called my order in ahead of time and still had to wait 45 minutes after I arrived for my food. That is not the first time that has happened. I probably won’t return again solely due to their slow and unorganized service. The food is good despite the service issues.

We are in Camden on a fishing trip. The choices of restaurants are not the best around here but Larrys Drive Inn is certainly a bright spot. I have seen a number of reviews that complains about the wait time. Well let me say this, if you dont like to wait for great food, just go across the street to Hardees. You will likely get your food faster. Also you not being at Larry’s may possibly affect my wait time at Larrys in a positive manner. We had a cheeseburger and fries. The fried were not the best but were completely acceptable. The burgers on the other hand were among the best I have ever eaten. Hand made, with great fresh meat. The wait was a little long but it was WELL worth the wait. That being said, you also must understand that my wait time fell while the Ironbowl was playing. For me to miss one minute of that game and not be mad? The food had to be good. RTR.
