I had the pleasure of trying the Chicago style hot dog, crispy fries, and perfectly cooked cheeseburger at this classic eatery, and I must say, it was a flavor explosion in every bite. The hot dog was a masterpiece, topped with all the classic fixings, from mustard to pickles to yellow chili peppers. The crispy fries were golden-brown and addictively tasty, complementing the hot dog perfectly. And let’s talk about that cheeseburger! Juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. This is a great little old school food stand in Old Burbank. They serve hot dogs, hamburgers, sandwiches, and breakfast sandwiches including breakfast burritos. They have a cool little seating area outside. This was my first time here so I had a few questions before I ordered. I asked the kid working at the front counter what comes on the egg and bacon sandwich. He replied very rudely “bread”. I asked him anything else besides bread? Any lettuce, tomato, anything? He said oh yeah, lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise.

On Aug 29 I ordered the number 2 cheeseburger como with grilled onions and upgraded to chili cheese fries. The burger was tasty but the patty was super thin.. I could barely taste the meat. The fries were over cooked and hard ish but the chili was very good… I think they’re on the right path… this could of been a one off or new cook error when it comes to the fries. I would recommend getting the double cheeseburger to get more meat.

Local favorite, the food is well priced and very good flavors. You can also order online without a lot of rigmarole and get your food within a decent time. I had the breakfast bacon and egg sandwich very good. Everything was crisp and fresh. Highly recommend Larry’s.
