For truck stop tacos they’re actually pretty legit. Definitely not consistent, but when they are on their game, it’s pretty delicious. They use quality tortillas, which I respect.

Savannah said it will take 1 hr to make the carne Guisada….. because it’s a lunch item. I guess that’s because the chicken fajita isn’t a lunch item.

I decided to finally try this place out of morbid curiosity, having stopped at the 7/11 countless times while on route for FedEx. It’s worth noting that I rarely saw any customers stop to eat here, and it turns out, there’s a very good reason for that. For starters, the various meats and sides on offer appear to have been sitting in warmers for hours, if not days on end. Everything you expect to be offered at a taco shop is available, albeit extremely dubious and odd in appearance. It’s almost as if the food was engineered in a lab, with loose knowledge of how the ingredients are supposed to taste and appear. I opted for the taco plate, specifically the barbacoa, which included two sides (I chose beans and rice). I dressed the tacos with salsa and onions and cilantro at the condiments bar on offer. The tacos were much larger than standard tacos. Basically they were two burritos, unwrapped. When it was time to dig in, the experience was uncomfortable at best. The tacos were swimming in grease, and the meat was a hardly recognizable mush with abstractly beef flavor. I would choose Taco Bell, or even Del Taco any day over this mess, and would save money doing so (I believe I spent at least 10 dollars on the plate). Wanting to save my bowels from unnecessary suffering, I ate one taco and threw the other away. This is food that hardly qualifies as being fit for human consumption. The only thing that prevents me from giving a 1 star review is the fact that I was amazingly spared from foodborne illness. I honestly would’ve had a far better experience going with the little 7/11 taquitos that stay on the rollers all day.

Food was great when they first opened up. Now the food is bland. The salsa roja is underwelming. Don’t order online, they won’t send tortillas either

I saw that the 7 eleven had the Larado taco co. and it brought back memories of going down to South Padre Island in Texas. So, I had to get 2 chicharron tacos and a spicy chicken, and it tasted just like the ones in Texas. I will be going back for more .

horrible food don’t waste your money and I’m being generous calling this food I made the mistake of ordering this on doordash. thinking it was an actual restaurant didn’t know it was 7-Eleven convenience store food that tastes like it was sitting in the back for a couple months in an old freezer that barely works it was tasteless and had a horrible texture the fact that they have the audacity to charge money for this Abomination is horrible I would recommend McDonald’s breakfast burritos over these they are that bad I guess the people that gave it 5 stars have low expectations maybe they’re used to eating some sort of dog food I don’t know.

Service was rude. She said she was a shift manage and tried speaking down to me as if I was a small child. Said coworkers were giving product. I was willing to pay for what receive just wanted what website said came with plate.

The pork carnitas tacos for lunch are super good, and a lot bigger than I expected. I forgot to put some salsa on them – I’ll do that next time!

Absolutely horrible. Overcooked pork and chicken. Nachos chips stale. All the food tasted horrible. Never again
