We ordered Viet crepe with shrimp and pork, caramel fish, and imperial crispy roll. All of them were delicious. The portions were quite generous. Caramel fish was pretty spicy though.

Amazing pho and fried rice! Wowed and happily full. Had the pho with the ginger beef and I’ve never had something so delicious, rich, and delicate all at the same time. The fried rice was flavorful, generous, and perfectly cooked. Their menu is varied and we can’t wait to go back and try more dishes!

Recommended by the nice folks staffing the UPS Store next door late yesterday afternoon I was delighted finding that Lantern House was as good as they said it is. Open floor plan with high industrial style ceiling, i.e., exposed hvac duct work, electrical conduit, etc. painted black. Blacked out ceiling used for maximum contrast for colorful hanging light fixtures gives a cheerful vibe to the spot. Server and bartender were friendly. Shrimp Summer Rolls I ordered were attractively plated, all ingredients were fresh and flavorful, and the portion generous. I enjoyed a Mango Smoothy that was highly emulsified and delicious. The smoothie was also a generous size serving. I will come back to explore other dishes on the menu.

I have nothing but GOOD things to say about this restaurant and their pho. However if I could give this PLAZA where this delicious restaurant is zero stars I would. Although the individual businesses are great and some of my favorites in the area, the management of this plaza has serious issues and has turned a blind eye to not only customer but business owner complaints. They have been supporting Pete’s towing company in unlawfully towing customer cars that are parked in the front lot. There are several contradictory signs in the lot and the towing operators target customers with no evidence. I myself parked and saw my car towed within 10 minutes of being at the retail plaza. I can only imagine that a property management company in cahoots with an unlawful and crooked towing company also practices bad business. This is not only disappointing as a customer but to the small business owner tenants who have to deal with irritated customers and the resulting negative impact on their businesses. BEWARE until this problem is resolved. I love supporting these businesses but think they deserve more respect than they are being shown as tenants

My wife and I have been trying to find a good and affordable pho place in our area (Arlington). Found Lantern House on the way back from a Tyson’s trip and now we see why it has close to a 5 star rating. The summer and imperial rolls were fresh and full of flavor while the pho was the best I’ve had since a Saigon trip in 2013. Staff was extremely friendly and we liked the modern interior and decorations. Price point was good for us, but we’re used to Arlington prices; not sure how it stacks up cost-wise to other nearby places. Definitely going to be repeat customers.

This new restaurant is delicious! Such a great addition to the falls church area. The milk teas are phenomenal, just full of flavor and not sugar additives and powder like other places. The food is amaaaaazing. Fresh ingredients and superb taste. Get seafood platter, you won’t regret. The black milk tea and green thai tea is amazing as well. The inside is very well decorated and inviting. I feel at home here, and the cooks and owner make me feel welcomed. Please give this place a shot.
