An excellent diner style restaurant located literally inside Okeechobee County Airport. For starters the food is cooked just right and plain delicious, along with the ringside views of the airport’s runway makes this an overall great experience. I ordered “The Pilot” and substituted the typical bacon/ ham with a country fried steak… Wow!! A must come for breakfast, but may be packed most the time, but definitely worth it!

The Landing Strip Cafe was outstanding in every aspect. Excellent food, super friendly staff, and extremely reasonable prices. We had several items off of the breakfast menu including hash browns, French Toast, omelettes. Their Iced tea and coffee were also top notch. We will definitely be going back. We flew in on a Sunday morning and the restaurant is conveniently located right there on the airport. I can’t say enough good things about this place!!

Fish sandwich not that great. In response to the managers response, I had asked for no onion and from the taste it seemed they just removed the onion from the other mixture. Also no tartar sauce was provided.

We usually go for breakfast. It’s my favorite place in town. The food is delicious and the home fries alone are worth going there for. Very large portions and we always have leftovers. Service is always fast and friendly. Definitely a must try.

My husband and I stopped in for breakfast. Food was good, came out fast. Our server stopped coming to our table after she brought the food. My husband wanted hot sauce, we had to flag down another server. Then I needed a box when I was finished, she never came. I ended up walking up and getting one myself. Then another server finally got our check.
