Visiting Land Ocean for my very first time for my “birthday brunch”, it was beyond what I expected. Being at the Summit Mall in Reno, NV. Walking into the restaurant and it was a very top notch vibe. We were greeted right away and sat down as we had reservations. The place was just amazing. The service from the staff to how everything was designed in the restaurant. Loved it!

I took my mom here for her birthday last night and we both throughly enjoyed ourselves. I honestly didn’t expect the food to be so delicious. We started out with their homemade bread and butter. The bread was so delicious, warm, and soft. We both ordered salads that arrived within minutes of ordering. The Cesar salad was crispy and flavorful and topped with their homemade croutons. I ordered the New York strip steak with crispy onion rings, asparagus, mushrooms, and mashed potatoes. The salted garlic butter and rosemary was the most perfectly balanced topping for my steak. The flavors were balanced so perfectly that each bite transported me to a magical place of beauty. Every single thing we ate was better than I imagined. I was honestly amazed at how polite the wait staff was and at how quickly we were sat, especially as a walk-in on a Friday evening. Our waitress, Heather was so attentive and helpful with the menu selections. We will definitely be coming back next time we’re in town.

I have always wanted to try Land Ocean Restaurant. Many things got in the way, until today and I was not at all disappointed. I ordered the land ocean meal. The filet mignon, the lobster, the mashed potatoes, and the asparagus were cooked to perfection. My taste buds launched a party. The greeting was warm, welcoming, attentive, sorry I didn’t ask the name of the young lady who helped me, I will look for her on my for sure next visit and thank her properly. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant gives a feel good moment. SUPERB!

Amazing meal. Our server Damon and his wife Anne, were both awesome. Well I did so much we made reservations for brunch tomorrow. They have their own butchers the break down the steaks and fish. Seems amazingly fresh at the table.

We went here for dinner on a Saturday and ate inside (all fully vaccinated and felt really comfortable with the way the restaurant was set up). The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and has a great ambiance. We had 3 different cocktails amongst the group and they were fantastic. I’m addition, we ordered the calamari appetizer, which was exceptional, and the grilled artichoke, also yummy. We got four different entrees, salmon, land and sea (with tempura prawns), filet, and ribeye (cowboy style). They were all excellent.

Had a very positive dining experience at Land Ocean. The wait staff were very nice and energetic. They knew the menu items very well and were able to make recommendations. They were a little behind on the knowledge of the different beers, but did really well for not being beer drinkers; we had all our questions answered and they made a good beer recommendation as well.

Been coming to this place since the day it opened Use to love this place but recently things have changed here and gone downhill under the new management. Hostess staff is rude and not very personable. A waitress spilled sauce all over me and ruined my new shirt and shorts. I didn’t even get an apology just a napkin to clean up the mess they made on me and the table. One of the napkins that was at the table when we sat down had a bunch of fuzz balls all over it. This place use to have a family feeling but now they have joined the corporate restaurant feeling. Very disappointing

Had the classic eggs Benny. They gave me over hard eggs when I originally asked for over easy, they fixed it & was an average benny. The potatoes were a very small portion & extremely dry & overcooked. Smells very strongly of fish. Not very good fish.. Mimosas are great for the price & the service is really the only reason they’re getting as many stars as I’m giving cuz our waitress was amazing. Could really just use a touch of finesse to make this place really nice. Just missing a few special touches & a little awareness

Kudos to Kaleigh!!! Saved the night. Service was superb. She made us feel welcomed. Food was delicious. What saddens me is the lady at the reception with black hair. Was staring at us, frowning. When my son spilled (few drops since it’s a sippy cup) his milk (just a little), we said sorry. It wasn’t intentional. She didn’t respond and she just frowned.
