Got a chicken buffalo pizza and a garlic pizza with white sauce, some bbq wings. All for 56 $. Pizza was ok, dough was a bit dry but the wings were good. Wanted a salad but they were out of all salads – a bit odd for Saturday afternoon. Couldn’t find the menu online so the lady I spoke over the phone walked me through the menu.

One of the best pizza places we had in a very long time! Highly recommend stopping there if you want quality pizza! We came near closing and a lot of people had opted for carry out, we chose to stay, and we were the only ones, but the staff never made us feel like we were bothering them- and tolerated the few hangry kids we had with us.

We got burgers from this place, and they were delicious! High quality locally sourced beef, and I loved the bread they used as well. The fries were also cooked perfectly and were shatteringly crispy and hot. Highly recommend!

Great local watering hole for the area. Place has the look and feel for unwinding. Lance and his crew have really expanded the place. Philly cheese steak is really good and nice selection of drinks. Music venue is a cool too. IV been going there for a long time and recommend for anyone to try.

So it took almost an hour for two large pizzas, I had four hungry exhausted kids with me so by the time it was done, I was a little annoyed however, it was seriously some of the best pizza I’ve ever had (a little greasy, but still delicious). I wouldn’t recommend this place for a quick bite, but if you have the time, wait, because it was good. I will definitely go back next time I’m in the Adirondacks. That being said, the place is a little run down, with minimal seating, worked for my family of 6 but I dont think it would be a good place for a larger crew. Good news, you can order food over the phone, pick it up and take it to one of the many local parks.

This is a really good local pizza place. Poutine was delicious, pizza was well done. The best part is there was no pretentiousness, just nice people and good food. Keep up the great work.

The Pizza, burgers and wings are spectacular, and if you happen to pop in on a night when Honas is cooking and offers a special, the food is seduction-worthy. The waitstaff is friendly and locally knowledgeable, so can advise tourist of hidden “local gems” and history if they’re not too packed. Be kind to the waitstaff on Saturdays and Sundays, sometimes the week has been so busy the kitchen runs out of items. Well worth the stop and well worth repeating the experience. It is a small restaurant, limited staff, so expect a wait on a live music night and try to get there early. Opens at 3, best time to get fast service is between 3 and 7.

Mad River has great food, to include pizza. They make the best meatball sub I ever had. Often, they have local music talents playing on a back stage. They have a full bar to include some of the best local brewed beers on tap. Always good times at Mad Rivers :>)
