Let me start by saying the service of this restaurant was superb. The views were so charming. I felt like I was in the English countryside. Definitely request a window seat when you come into the restaurant. I would recommend reservations ad f time because this place gets incredibly busy. We started off with a wedge and a French onion soup. My wedge was delicious. For the main course we split a prime rib with a baked potato. The prime rib was the perfect temperature, and the baked potato was cooked to literal perfection. For dessert we had the warm brownie as well as the crème brûlée. They were a little slammed but the service was still admirable.

Very underwhelming. We spent ~$100 for each of the three people in our party. Two of us had their signature dish – the prime rib. We both ordered medium and the dishes came out well done. One of our dishes was sent back and it came back out exactly the same. The meat was tough and very chewy. The fries and asparagus where however delicious. Dessert tasted ok but was a super small portion for the cost.

We enjoyed Lancelot in Vail for the first time this evening. The entire experience from the moment we arrived was tremendous! Service was outstanding. We had their signature prime rib and the striped bass. Both were excellent. The sides were delicious and thoroughly complimented each entree.

Wonderful experience. Sophie our waitress was AMAZING. The Escargot had a light pastry covering the entire dish, yum! The prime rib was second to none and the buttermilk Cauliflower is a must order. You will not be disappointed in this 50 year old establishment- BRAVO!!!

We had an 8pm reservation. When I arrived, I stood at the hostess stand for 9 minutes before she came over to seat me as if I had just walked in. We sat down and started to review the menu only to be told they had run out of prime rib. No apology, nothing. We decided to leave as the staff seems to care about the customers very little. The chef simply said “we were busier than we thought and ran out of prime rib”.

Great date night in Vail! We had the salmon and the prime rib. Both were delicious! For an appetizer, we enjoyed the escargot. Service was excellent! Our table was near the window and it was snowing…magical! Try the raspberry or grapefruit beers from Austria! Highly recommended!
