First time trying this place as it’s has great reviews. Overall decent option. Good portion is generous and food tasted decent. Tried the house chicken in a burrito bowl (plenty for two people to split). And the burria tacos were huge. Only 4 starts simply because the flavor wasn’t amazing. Just decent.

Strike 3, you’re out!! We live close to Lamy’s and love Mexican food. Our first negative visit was in the restaurant when the young kid forgot to add our drink to our tab, the owner literally yelled at the worker telling him he just cost him money. This poor kid (16ish) was mortified. They made us pay separately for our drinks. 2nd incident was when we wanted extra salsa with our chips and salsa. We were dining in and finished our salsa and went up to the counter to get more. They told us we would have to pay for extra. We did but told ourselves we wouldn’t come back. The final straw was going through the drive-through, I ordered a been and cheese burrito. When they gave me the burrito I asked if they included salsa. He said that would be extra and charged me $1.80. This is the salsa they gave me (small 2-3 oz cup)!! It seems petty, but we will not be going to Lamy’s again! We will go to Sanchez’s or Ernesto’s! The food is much better and you can get as much salsa as you would like with no charge

Delicious food! Big portions and so flavorful and fresh! We were sad we couldn’t eat it all. The people were so nice and friendly. Although their horchata is gross and no refills on drink, but we will still be coming back!!

Once again, I must say I really love their food. The portions are huge, and the flavor is outstanding. If you have not tried their Lammy’s special shredded pork, you must!! It’s a sweet Mexican barbecue shredded pork. If you like the sweet barbacoa pork at Costa Vida, you’ll die over this. It is MUCH MUCH better.

We love the big taco salads here! The grilled chicken is our favorite. There isn’t a tortilla on the bottom but it’s loaded with lots of toppings. It’s easily enough for a lunch for two. Sour cream and guacamole are even included in the price. We might enjoy it more if some iceberg lettuce was added. On our last visit, it was all Romaine lettuce which was a bit bitter in parts.

I watched how the food is prepared. They took my food right into a styrofoam container right into the microwave. When I told they that causes cancer they said they think it is a microwave safe styrofoam but told me I could go look in the garbage for the box to confirm it. He wasn’t willing to do anything to satisfy my concerns.

Lamys continues to charge for small things like salsa or sauce. It seems like the same as charging for ketchup when you order French fries. $2 for a ketchup size fry container of salsa when ordering a burrito is too high. Neither Ernesto’s or Sanchez’s in the same area charges for salsa. The food is also better at Sanchez’s/Ernesto’s.
