Tried the short ribs but i thought they were tough. To be fair, I am used to slow cooked tender short ribs but these may have been what authentic Argentinian short ribs are like. My wife got a couple of the empanadas and thought they were good. We ordered ice water and got bottled water without being asked. $4.50 seemed a little steep for 2 bottles of water but maybe its the norm in this area. Staff was very friendly. Surcharge for credit cards.

This place is a hidden gem! It’s located in a small plaza mall and the place is small itself. Always go there on Sundays and never seen it busy, which is good for us as we have a quiet dining experience. The owner works there and she multi-tasks waiter, phone, bills etc. Ok now for the food..well what can I say, no matter how quiet, nice the location is, the food is the deciding factor. And the Food is simply amazing! 5 stars! The food is prepared in plain sight and perfectly cooked. The empanadas are the best in NJ but the food is top 5 as well. Can’t go wrong in this place.

First impression was the ambient, a clean, up to date restaurant, nice Tango music on the speakers, the owner greeted us, found us a seat, when the food came, (fast by the way) we knew we were in for a treat. Awesome taste, seasoning was perfect. Price was good. All awesome.

Had lunch there on Saturday afternoon. There were no other customers in the restaurant at that time which I found odd. The service was very friendly and helpful, but the food was disappointing. We got half chicken, half ribs and the meat was salty, rather cold and not tasty at all. The rice was deliscious, though and so was the coconut flan. Overall rather pricey for mediocre food. Not sure if we ever go back.

I stopped in with my family, ordered empanadas and BBQ chicken. Server came back and said the chicken had a 30 minute wait. Told her it was okay. Then came back 10 minutes later and said that the chicken was back ordered and it wouldn’t be ready. So we ordered chicken cutlets and spare ribs. Then server came back and told us it would be another 30 minutes before the ribs would be ready. So all we had were the empanadas, which took about 30 minutes to come out anyway. The owner came out to apologize, but the disappointment and annoyance was already at an all time high. How do you have food on the menu and then not have it available and make people wait so long. Needless to say I won’t be order from them again. Nice people but very poor management and service.

It’s Sunday and I missed the Empanada Guy truck. After a quick Google search for another local place that serves empanadas I ended up here. The lady is who I guess is the owner is very nice, but they are very disorganized.

Love it. The food asawesome. I ordered a churrazco with rice and black beans. The meat was perfectly cooked and great flavor and rice and beans like if I would cook it at home. About the ambien and personal awesome and friendly. There was a lady that I think was the owner welcomed us and make us feel like home. A+.
