Charlotte Banasik here…I am not one to write reviews but I am happy to write this one. A few weeks ago I took home sub sandwiches from Lakeside Subs in Lago Vista. I have had many meatball subs in the past but the one I had from Lakeside Subs was the best ever. It overflowed with scrumptious meatballs, was so fresh & flavorful. While eating I heard my hubby talking about how fresh his sandwich was & the amount of meat on his sub. I should mention here that the meat is sliced as you place your order (impressive). Both of us got 2 meals each from the large sandwiches.This young couple is doing an excellent job & their staff are all amazing. I can’t wait till their new venture, The Burger Bar, opens. Love this sandwhich shop! It’s the best I’ve been to. My husband and I have loved our food everytime. The workers there have all been very friendly, the young men work very hard in there. Recently there has been a girl working there that had not been very nice while we ordered and didnt seem to care to do much while taking orders. Another instance when we came in I saw one of her Co workers ask her for help to take customer orders and she didn’t even respond to him or try to come help with the line. He did everything on his own and was very professional. A good young kid!

Ok let me tell you how amazing this place is! The sub’s we had were the best I have ever had. I am a sandwich fan and these blew me away! The selection meats and the bread were top notch. They are super generous with the amount and the flavor combos are perfect. I came home craving it and had to try and make one myself. They know what they are doing!

If you like Jersey Mikes and Subway then you’ll love this place. Their subs are unreal. Bread is amazing. Staff are pleasant. They also sell smoothies and soup.

My favorite place for lunch in Lago. The meats are freshly sliced to order, and everything we’ve had is delicious. The gluten free bread is some of the best I’ve had (if you eat gluten free, you know that some of the breads are chalky/powdery, but this one tastes like a true sub bread). Some family favorites are the lakeside club, super Italian, tuna sandwich, and the philly cheese. But can’t go wrong with anything here.

This is a top-notch sub joint. I grew up in New Jersey, where they slice the deli meat right in front of you, and they do this here. Staff is super friendly also. I’m very impressed with Lakeside subs.
