Our waitress was very nice and helpful, so no complain about service, but the wait time was very long, it wasn’t even busy but the two of us waited for more then an hour for our entrees. Calamari appetizer was too salty with too much pepper, we couldn’t even eat, had to return it. Pasta with shrimp came out to 37$, they charge 14$ for 5 shrimp, that’s a bit overpriced for what you get, shrimp tasted good, but pasta was very average, not worth 23$ on it’s own. Sorry, but I can’t recommend this place.

Great place but the food still fell a little flat for the price. The Buffalo meatball’s sauce was good but the meat’s texture was stiff, dry and flavorless. The Risotto was ok, but again needs more bold flavors. It was pretty bland. Work some more on those dishes! It’s got a good base!

Amazing fresh food experience. The best restaurant in the Pinedale area. It’s really unfortunate that this season it had only been open 5 hours a day, 3 days a week. Reservations are usually required, but worth it.

Restaurant at a small lodge on the shore of the lake. About 10 minutes outside Pineville, near the CCC Ponds. Stopped in for a late lunch, but several other parties were doing the same.

What a hidden gem! Beautiful lakeside setting overlooking gorgeous Fremont Lake. The food and service were exceptional….bruschetta, salads, filet, and more were all spectacular. Our waitress was very attentive and courteous!

As of Jan. 2023, JM Horn has moved on and The Experience at Lakeside has taken over the lease, touting themselves as an Italian Smokehouse. Unfortunately, with a not quite ready for primetime mixologist and wait staff, reduced selection, and a notable increase in overall pricing, we were not impressed. We tried the “Smoked Meat of the Day” and determined the smoke came from a bottle—the aftertaste doesn’t lie—soured an otherwise perfectly aged flatiron steak. We’ll be headed into town for dinner next time we’re at Lakeside.
