Lakeside Eats is a local deli and sandwich shop serving customers in Grand Haven, Michigan. We take great pride in using the freshest possible ingredients and, perhaps more importantly, sourcing them from local businesses and producers. While we can’t serve Michigan-grown lettuce in the middle of December, we make sure to buy whatever we can locally, whenever we can. Visited her for the first time and it was enjoyable. The atmosphere is nice and clean. There is seating in the front section and then plenty in the back area (much more than we expected). Food was good, we had a couple of sandwiches. One was a hot roast beast with horseradish which was very good; I’m hit or miss on if I like horseradish sauce and this was a hit. We also had a hot chicken club sandwich which was good but could use a little more flavor (maybe salt and pepper or a chipotle sauce). We will go back to try their other sandwiches.

What a refreshing new take on this space. Love the sandwich aspect and a perfect location for it. Grabbed one of the rotating soups and a couple of the hot sandwiches and was not disappointed. Most likely underpriced for the quality and location which means now is the time to go and try it out. I will be lunching here plenty more often.

Great place to get unique sandwiches, with various salads and treats and soups. I had the Knox (oven roasted tury,bacon, swiss, lettuce, tomato, avocado on sourdough) and the Jolly Roger (chicken salad, cheddar, lettuce tomato on sourdough, with sausage mushroom soup. All were excellent.

Stopped for lunch and had the #3 Fishers Favorite, it was absolutely delicious with the house mustard! Staff was very friendly and the restaurant was very clean. Will definitely be coming back.

This place is our new favorite for a day on the boat! They have a Boat Box! It comes with assorted cheeses, meats, fruit, nuts and crackers. A traveling charcuterie board for the boat! What a cool idea! It was so good and plan to get another one for Labor Day weekend! Also the staff was so helpful and friendly!

I ordered a salad and the Fisher’s Favorite sandwich. And oh my goodness. Best/freshest/ most flavorful sandwich I’ve ever had. I’ve been hearing lots of talk about the homemade mustard and how they use local ingredients. I am 100% hooked. Also Clean environment, friendly staff.
