It’s a soft opening so the menu might have been limited when we arrived for Saturday brunch. We had the crab cake Benedict, bagguet french toast & steak n eggs. All 3 came with home fries (carmelized onions, no peppers). Presentation and flavor were excellent.

Love this place! We’ve been here several times already and its only been open a few months. Each time we’ve been here the food is delicious and the service is great! The general atmosphere is so nice..lots of gorgeous wood beams and wood tables and beautiful views of the small man-made lake just outside the restaurant. In warmer weather we look forward to enjoying our meal at an outside table!

Hidden gem in Woodbridge! I’ve lived less than a mile away for 3 years, and it’s a wonder I only just discovered it. Delicious classic American foods with an atmosphere and view that makes you feel like you’re out on the waterfront in Old Town Alexandria! I will absolutely be coming back as a regular.

I will never eat here again after the disgusting food and service we received. Forget the cockroach we saw near our table. I requested the burger I ordered to be cooked well-done and it literally came out rare. I spoke to Tyler Roby, a manager there who was rudest employee i’ve ever encountered in the restaurant industry. He refused to acknowledge that food was not properly cooked and stated that I was imagining the cockroach that went past our table. I will warn all my clients about this place.

I was a bit nervous about going here because of some of the bad reviews. However I enjoyed my experience here. We sat out on the patio with a view of the lake and enjoyed throwing bread to the fish and turtles. The food was reasonably good though nothing extraordinary. The wait staff was excellent. They were all very friendly and attentive to my 18 month old. overall I don’t have any real complaints except that maybe the descriptions in the menu could be a bit more thorough. For example I ordered fettuccine alfredo with chicken, and when it arrived it had mushrooms and asparagus in it. that’s not a huge deal, but I would have requested no mushrooms had I known.

Like many folks in our area, we really want this non-chain restaurant to succeed. Four of us went for lunch. The decor is attractive, the view lovely and the service excellent. The menu however, is uninspired and a bit pricey (frankly, Silver Diner’s locally sourced menu is more interesting.) We started with the Local Virginia Cheese Plate to share and though it featured only hard cheeses, was tasty, well-presented and enough to share. At the end of our meal, I noticed that my friend had not eaten any of her shrimp entree. She did not want to say anything but the shrimp had turned and was inedible. I let the waiter know who took one whiff and agreed that the shrimp had gone off. He spoke with the manager offered a 15% discount off her next visit rather than comping her meal. We enjoyed our other three entrees including a tasty steak salad. Unfortunately the steak salad eater was extremely ill after lunch! This restaurant is nicely designed, well-located and well-staffed but the ho-hum menu, food quality issues and slightly high prices would not encourage us to go back again at this point. We hope they will find their footing here in town and wish them much success.

Had dinner at the restaurant’s grand opening today. Food was tasty, great menu selections-did not know what to try, excellent service, and nice atmosphere in and outside on the patio on the lake. Visited the cafe a couple times for breakfast this week. Again, breakfast sandwiches were great, the homemade cookies were yummy and service was excellent. The place is hidden away in the corner of the backside of the shopping center so you need to look for it, but well worth it. I highly recommend.

The tuna burgers are to die for! I enjoyed my whole dining experience. Definitely very fancy and the service was amazing. By the way walking on the dock with that view of the lake was amazing and very romantic. I will definitely come back more often. This is perfect for date nights. Everything was fresh and flavorful. And not to mention the green tea lattes were a delicious treat.
