I’ve eaten a lot of airport food in my life. But this is a special place. Home made soup. Interesting wine list. Craft beer. Delicious, healthy food choices. It is also a big wide open space to get a little respite during a busy day of travel – or a few hours of work, which was my situation. Lots of p outlets along the bar to plug-in and get some stuff done. I’ll be back!

This is my favorite restaurant at the MSP airport. I’ve actually been excited to have long layovers here just because it means I have a chance to dine at Lake Wine Kitchen. They have a seasonal menu and a varied wine list. The only thing keeping me from giving a five star review is that the service is always very slow. I totally understand that the team here is extremely busy and that the food prep takes time, but I have felt that a significant amount of time passes between visits and revisits from the staff here. In fact, on two occasions I have had to leave my table and go to the bar just to pay my check because time was ticking by and the server was nowhere to be found. That said, the note I would like to leave this on is: the food is great!
