Fun, relaxing bar/restaurant on the lake with outdoor dining overlooking the water. I was less than thrilled when a table asked and got okayed to lite up their after dinner smokes next to us. I understand it’s outside, but c’mon have a designated area away from those dining. Our waitress said she was new but super friendly, called everyone by name and excelled at her job, well done.

Great place, the food is awesome, and the view is beautiful. Their staff is super nice, and they go out of their way to take care of you. The pizza is really good, as well as the deep fried cheese curds. 6/17/23 update, I still feel the same way. One issue. The table we were seated at was right in front of an ac unit, and it was blowing strong on the table. We were all cold, and it made the food cold fast.

I’ve lived in Rome for 18 years, and my first time visiting Lake Sherwood Lodge was Saturday….We had a group of 6, and it was relatively busy, but the Waitress was incredible, wish I would have gotten her name…..EVERY THING we ordered was delicious. I had the Sherwood Burger that comes on a pretzel bun, it was sooo good. Since our Saturday meal was Fantastic, we ordered their pizza Sunday night. That, too, was delicious….Came out hot and loaded with toppings. Looks like the sauce might be homemade, as there were bits of tomatoes in the sauce…..Very good pizza, one of the best in the area, and the burgers are top notch! We’ll be back!

Very relaxing could sit outside enjoy the view of lake. Was there for benefit formats County Humane Shelter. People were friendly as was staff. Had a nice afternoon with friends ☺

Food was Hot, ample and delicious! Served by a very nice young man. Fish, shrimp, baked potatoes, fies and all the fixing for a Friday night Fish Fry in Wisconsin, all near a lake to look over.

Took 60 minutes for an appetizer of chips to come. Food sat in window getting cold for over 10 minutes before we got the chips so it came right after appetizer. When telling them we no longer wanted that appetizer we were told it’s just two of us to wait on 10 tables and wouldn’t take the chips back. Food of course was all cold. Never going here again for lunch! Drinks we reasonable price but once we went to the bar to get our bill we noticed an up charges for everything…veggies for the sandwiches .50 cents for a slice of tomato, lettuce, onion and pickles. So an additional $2. The waitress should of told us that it would be an upcharge. Total bill for 2 people with 2 drinks a piece was $55.

Highly recommend coming here for food and drinks! All waitresses are great except for Genilee. Don’t ask her how long the wait is for a table.. VERY RUDE!! her response when I asked was “idk” and walked away. I would come again but if she ever waits my table I’d ask for someone else…

Typical up north bar with food. But the food is where it turns up. The Pretzel is a must have and they are known for homemade pizza. I imagine because of the crust. (Did not have) Beer selection is poor/ up north standards. Would have assumed the menu would have been more craft inclusive, seeing they host brewery events. First time there and I’ll be back for more pretzel.
