Came here randomly and so glad we did. The interior is quite outdated and dim and needs an upgrade but the servers were friendly. Quite busy inside but lots of tables available for lunchtime on a weekday. Lunch Specials were great! I was so pleasantly surprised with the food. It felt abit longer for food to come out but it was so worth it because I could tell everything was made to order. The grilled codfish was delicious. The fried fish were also delicious and not dry. The soft shell crab was nice! Coleslaw was just okay! Fries and the hushpuppies were done well! Will definitely return!

I love eating here. The food is very consistent each time I come in. The space is plain but clean. Their baked potatoes have real bacon crumbles and good cheese. My fave is grilled shrimp and snapper. Food is fairly priced. And I’ve never had bad service. I love the variety of combinations on their menu!

Amazing find as we were looking for a place to eat that was not a huge chain like Chili’s or Applebee’s. This place did not disappoint! Portions were huge and fresh and the service was great! We drove the 60 miles round trip just to see if it lived up to the previous reviews, we will definitely be returning customers! The scallops and shrimp were perfectly seasoned and the catfish fillet was tender and juicy. The calamari and onion rings were perfectly cooked and the prices were reasonable for the portions.

Excellent food. Monica is an outstanding waitress. No DUI’s leaving this place because they don’t serve alcohol. They give you more shrimp in your shrimp cocktail than Vernon’s Restaurant, and its cheaper. Thank you for a incredible meal.

Food was ok but kind of bland. People were nice, but un attentive. The decor is in dire need of remodeling. The cement floor is chipped, and the paint is peeling. The seats are old and torn. The waitress was dressed in an old t shirt and dirty sweatpants. It felt like being in a warehouse. I half expected th see a fork lift carrying a pallet of boxes coming around the corner. Got my check, put my CC with it and it sat on the table for a half hour after I was dome eating while the waitress sat playing on her phone at another table. Needs a lot of improvements.

Wife and I went to Lake Jackson for dinner. Food was good had fried mushrooms and pickles for appetizers really good. Grilled jumbo shrimp good Wife had catfish fried . Restaurant was a little under staffed but everyone was husling and working as fast as they could.

Apparently Texan people like an early dinner. We came in at 7.30 and there were hardly people or they were leaving. What we did see were quite a lot of tables with dirty dishes, but all tables were cleared within 10 minutes after our arrival. We shared fried pickles as an appetizer. The waitress recommended the étouffée with crawfish. This turned out to be a great suggestion. Also the grilled scampy with scallops were a great choice.

GREAT place to eat seafood. I was very surprised by the menu choices, and was even more surprised by the decent prices on some of the dishes. Staff was very friendly. Establishment was very clean. Meals were prepped and served in a very timely manner. Grilled shrimp was cooked perfectly hats off to the chef!!!!
